Brews a full pot in 8 minutes. Having the water reservoir completely separate from the filter area is a nice feature. Water pours in quickly with no mess or spillage. Also like that you can always see how much water is in there.

large and leaky pour

The carafe leaked unless the top was screwed on excessively tightly. I wasn't crazy about the plastic tube in the carafe (for mixing, I suppose).
The maker operated very quietly and efficiently.

Extremely Noisy

I'm not impressed at all with how it brews, it is extremely noisy during the brewing process and spits the water into the filter at the end making the coffee grounds go over the filter onto the sides of the filter basket.
Like the pour over process of the brewing though.

Amazing, but..

Love this machine! No more frustrating spills all over the counter when trying to get caffeinated to start the day. The control is simple to use after the first brew and programmed brew. The price for this is also totally reasonable compared to other machines we were looking at. My only gripe is that the warming plate turns off after one hour, but the thermos does a good job keeping things warm after that first hour. Wish there was a glass carafe option but the metal one is just fine.

Finally a coffee maker that delivers flavor

After years of trying various coffee makers and always going back to a manual, single cup pour over brewer (which is in my opinion is still best for single cup brewing if you have the time), this brewer makes great coffee. I believe the key is the blossoming feature that activates the coffee and helps deliver a more flavorful pot of cup. the stainless carafe keeps the coffee pretty warm for a while. The design looks good and easy to use and clean.

Full flavor, full satisfaction

I am sooo pleased to finally get the full Cafe style flavor from my coffee maker at home. And, as an unexpected surprise, I find myself using about 15% less coffee to get it. This unit is the real deal.
