I've had this flat iron for a year, and thought with the price and brand I would be getting a quality product. It's performed well, however, only a year in with minimal use (I have fine hair and wear it up for work everyday so I only really straighten my bangs, 5 minutes max use), it has stopped heating up. That's fine I guess, it carries a 2 year warranty. My disappointment is that with minimal use, only a year in I'm being told the replacement I'm being sent is either an open box product, refurbished, and may not even be the same product I initially paid for. On top of that, I gave to cut the cord and send a picture to get replacement. Which means I could go up to two weeks without even having a flat iron to use.
