I do love these rollers and I have very fine hair and they still do the trick with adding a hair setting spray after I shampoo. I also have the wire type pins that work great instead of the clips that come with it. At my age, a young 78, I’m not strong enough to open them. I also have to remark about the odor that the set of rollers gives off. It’s so bad I have to crack my bedroom window when I have them on. It does mention something about pregnant women not to use them? I would have returned them because of the smell, but I need rollers so bad and can’t find any others that I like. Not sure if the smell is totally toxic? Why can’ t someone make the perfect roller set, no bad smell, holders that work in all types of hair. Can’t some woman design one. I could tell them exactly what would work for the average woman and hair length!!!
Over priced. Took too long for them to heat up. Less expensive brand only takes 2minutes to heat. I returned because I don’t have time to wait 20 minutes for them to heat up. I felt something was wrong with them.
Love how quickly they heat up and I only like rollers with velvet around them to protect hair. However- the plastic clips are flimsy and can’t keep any thick hair rolled up and stayed rolled. You have to use two or three to keep one roller in! I wish they would go back to the long metal clips that kept hair roller in place. Also would like a travel version- they are very bulky to travel wirh
This is my 4th set of hot rollers over many years and the rollers are the best! but the clips are horrible! Figure something else out and sell separately, please! Hate them!
The rollers themselves are excellent. However, the clips that come with them cause dents- U clips are SO much better. I’ve had to source my own U clips to use with these, which is frustrating given the investment made with these rollers- I shouldn’t have to add anything to it to make it complete.
