Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have forgotten how nice it is to have a hand mixer! I have been using a stand mixer for years but decided to get a hand mixer as a backup. I’m so glad I did! It is so much more convenient. It has multiple speeds and mixes cookies extremely well. It is very easy to clean and store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hand mixer is simple to use and light weight. Settings are decent enough and the motor is fine for basic household baking and cooking. The beaters come off easy and clean up with no issues. So far no complaints.

Various Speed and Light weight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this mixer. Just the right weight and easy to set speeds. I like the variations of speeds and the button to slow down speed. I like the beaters it came with. It arrived quicker than I expected. Would highly recommend it.

Great little hand mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well and isn’t heavy. Great for baking cookies and mashed potatoes too. I do wish it came with both regular beaters and whisk beaters but the beaters it comes with are kind of like a mix of the two. They are like a whisk shape but much sturdier like a regular beater. So far they seem to be fine using them both ways. I haven’t tried for them for egg whites yet, so we will see.

Big Power and features in a little package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Proctor Silex hand mixer has a lot of great features compared to past mixers that I have owned. It’s nice because it can do almost everything that my big mixer does without all the hassle and with much more flexibility and portability. The first thing that I noticed was the power and torque in all 5 speeds. Even when mixing thick cake and cookie batters the mixer plows right through the batters without struggling. One of the best features is the boost button that allows you to up the speed temporally with a touch of a button. It seems, the boost button speeds up the mixer to the next higher speed. This allows it to give an extra bump of power without always changing the speeds with a touch of your thumb. The other feature I like is the universal beaters, the design allows a single set of beaters to be used for everything that I have needed so far from making whipped cream to cake batter. One the hidden features that is not so obvious is the indentation on the back of the mixer that allows it to rest on the side of a bowel. Its perfectly designed to keep the mixer stable and not slip into the bowel when not using it or adding ingredients. The Proctor Silex hand mixer has big power and great features and I use it as a go to before even thinking about getting out my big mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice hand mixer, lightweight, great speed & power control with boost feature. The boost feature is nice, but I am not sure of its purpose. Do I really need this, and the instructions say not to use this feature for more than 2 minutes at a time. Why not just go to the next speed setting. It has 5 that seem to cover the gambit of speeds. And the blades being smooth and rounded makes it a bit easier to clean.
