[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that this slow cooker has a divider in the middle so you can cook two meals at once. It is also very useful around the holidays when you want to have several snack foods. Easy to use, put the lid on and cook away.

So versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slow cooker is incredibly versatile. I have found it to work three ways- using both inserts, using one insert, and using it without the inserts (just the crock). When using the inserts, it’s important to keep in mind that the crock is also required, and water needs to be added between the crock and inserts to ensure proper cooking of food. The manual said between two and three cups of water is required; I found two to be more than plenty as my inserts were floating with two cups of water. I left the two cups in and rearranged the inserts after I put my food in, as the water from the crock will deplete- it will evaporate, hit the lid, and fall into the cooking food. I found that with the inserts, it works best for cooking food and not as well for things like slow-cooker cakes, etc. It also needs a bit more time if I use cold water in the crock, as that needs to heat up before the food will start heating (I recommend pouring in hot tap water to give a head start). The nonstick coating on the inserts cleans easily and the whole thing is a breeze to wipe down at the end. Overall, a good investment!

I love this slow cooker!

You can cook a whole meal like you normally do or make a smaller dish or even two different side dishes. If you decide to uses the 2 side dish pans that come with this slow cooker, you will need to put water in the slow cooker itself to prevent food from being unevenly heated/cooked or even damage to the slow cooker. The slow cooker has 3 easy settings. My kids even learned how to cook using this slow cooker as they love Buffalo chicken dip so this gets frequently used for that dish. This slow cooker is also great for parties as I can use the smaller side dish options to keep more food choices warm. The options on what to cook next are endless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Proctor Silex 6 Quart double dish Slow cooker free from TryIt Sampling for a review. It is very easy to use. I love being able to prepare 2 things at once. I normally don't cook large meals so this is perfect. It is good quality and it is dishwasher safe. I like this slow cooker because I could make 2 different things and take the containers out and use the large one to make a main dish. I like how it is designed. The handles on the side make it easy to move while it is cooking. I really like that it has a keep warm feature as well as the Low and High settings. The 2 containers are nonstick which is a plus. It's easy to clean and comes with easy to read instructions. The only thing is I wish the cord was a little longer. I would recommend it.

Love the double sides

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this slow cooker. It is simple, doesn’t have many bells and whistles but is a great size and gets what it needs to get done. My favorite feature of this thought is the fact to make two items at once. I am vegetarian and my bf eats meat: this is an amazing way to be able to make something for both of us and not have to do any extra work. Which I love. I would highly recommend.

I was able to make and keep warm my separate side dishes for my recent family Easter dinner. It was very easy to use and came with very clear instructions on how to use. The best part is you can also use it as a full sized 6 quart slow cooker!!

Good slow cooker

The pot is big enough to make a big enough portion for a family, and it cooks food at a decent pace as well. I like the option of using the two side item trays or just being able to use the main pot for meals, this has made me cooking time a lot easier!
