All-Purpose Workhorse

These are legit. I bought them for all-around use: wired for electric guitar headphone amp and wireless for tablet and cellphone. They do it all exceptionally. The'yre very comfortable and the battery lasts forever. The only thing that I wish they did is simultaneous wired and wireless playback.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This headphone is overrated. I bought into the hype and was largely disappointed. Reviews said that this headphone sounded great, but they're only okay for music but good for TV or Podcasts. Also, the app is really buggy. Since the sound quality isn't great and the app features aren't good, I would go wired instead, and maybe buy a bluetooth adapter or something. It's not bad, but just disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I care about two things when it comes to headphones: sound quality and comfort.
These headphones get an A in both categories.
I have an older set of M50X (wired) and these sound basically identical.
I love jazz, classical and anything instrumental. These are perfect for that.
Clarity is outstanding with clear high and beautiful mids.
The headphones were almost bass heavy out of the box but that cleared up in only 10 hours or so. Now the bass is perfect. not over powering but certainly present.
The only negative is soundstage. Being closed back you will never get great soundstage but I knew that before I bought.
Not exactly sure about battery power but I go over a week without having to plug in.
The app is a nice touch although I really haven't used it.
I don't care about noise cancellation or phone calls so that means nothing to me.
In the end if you want great sounding headphones that are really comfortable, these are a great choice.

Great overall experience!

I bought these under recommendation from a couple friends, and I’m very glad I did. I’ve been using them primarily at my work in an office environment using Bluetooth, however I’ve also been using them wired at home for gaming on pc.
Pros:
- Great sound quality
- Bluetooth connection is stable
- Comfortable on the head (not too much pressure)
- Sound isolation is good (It is just enough to block out enough sound from an open office environment that I’m more comfortable, but not too much so people can still get my attention if required)
- Multi device pairing makes it amazingly easy to use for everything you need day to day (I’ve been using it for meetings / software alerts connected to a laptop, and phone calls / music from my mobile phone)
- Great sound quality

- Sometimes the play/pause button gets confused when connected to two devices, depending on what audio is happening at the time
- They get a little warm on the ears for long sessions, but nothing crazy (as do most closed back headphones)
- Microphone is okay for calls, but not great

Best among the rest with under $300

I have spend half an. Hour to 45 min in best buy to try out all the headphone. This is the best with sound quality compare to prize. Bose qq ultra is the best but cost you 500 . This one is really good.try it.

I was skeptical about purchasing blue tooth headphones within my budget but I'm glad I did.
They're super comfortable on my ears and my head, they feel durable and the sound is fantastic.
For the simple pleasure of listening to music, it was worth the sale price.

Weak

These headphones are weak. I have another set of headphones that I do not turn to full volume as they are then too loud. Conversely I have never listened to these cans on anything but full volume and they leave me utterly unimpressed. This tame volume level is widely discussed in forums but no reviewer made mention of the fact in any of the articles I researched which I find odd.
I will be returning the ATH-M50xBT2 and getting something better (louder).
