I have got to admit the saying don't judge a book by its cover is true even in electronics hehehe.. this is so great blends so well and comes with different attachments. I use it every single day.

I have used the chopper multiple times and it performs excellent. So much easier than pulling out a big food processor for small tasks. I love the power of the blender attachment. and the convenience of cordless It makes cook prep a breeze. I love this Hand Blender!

Not tethered by a power cord it is ultra portable. Plenty of power for puréing and food processing tasks. I am very pleased with the results obtained to date. Good battery life. Easy cleanup. Easy, convenient storage. Attachments provided make it a complete solution.

Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a kitchenaid hand blender that is old, plugs in and has 9 speeds. Love it. At least 30 years old. The idea of no cord and a chopper attachment was interesting to me. Made sure it had different speeds, as that is very important to me. It says variable speeds BUT that is NOT true. The speed can vary depending on how long you hold the button-you cannot change speeds on this product. It makes a big difference when working with liquids and splashing out. It does blend and chop. No cord is nice. But it needs to have a few different speeds. I find myself going back to the old model-glad I did not give it away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For Hugh speed blending works well.
