Difficult to setup, but convenient

After a snafu where I was shipped an improperly assembled one, I was shipped a working one, but found that the initial setup not to be as easy or intuitive as simplehuman’s other products. The battery compartment sleeve is very difficult to pull out. You essentially have to use the screw in the bottom as a pull handle. It makes me feel like this product was rushed out of the door.
Nevertheless, once I got it setup it worked great. I have it wall mounted at the front door once you come inside. I love that it has a wall mount.
My hope is that v2 of this pump solves for the poor setup process.

battery drains quick

Love the unit but the battery drains pretty quick. It would be nice if this can be regards like the soap dispensers.

Batteries Lasted less than a month!

I set this up & hung on the wall in entry way. Didn’t use it that much. 3-6 times per week & batteries were dead in under three weeks. Unacceptable. I’ve just replaced them again on 2/4 & will use this at least once a day to see how long batteries actually last with daily use. Having to potentially replace batteries once per month is unacceptable & a waste. Plus you have unscrew compartment on the bottom to access the batteries which is hard with this hanging on the wall. Dispenser looks good but starting to think poorly designed.

Sanitizer Pump - Could be better

It is hard to control how much sanitizer it puts out. Anything but the smallest amount is too much. Would be nice to be able to set it to the smallest amount possible no matter where someone places their hands.
