Very disappointing

I am a college student and got this laptop for christmas. Thought it would be a great new laptop upgrade. Unfortunately this computer constantly crashes and the screen goes black, closing all the tabs/powerpoints/documents I had open. The computer is also very slow and has a ton of trouble connecting to Wi-fi sources in my home, at school, and in public. Very let down by this product so far. For the past couple months I was putting up with all the issues but the crashes and other problems have gotten so bad lately that I wanted to write this review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
