Just stopped working

Well, I'm glad I took a look at the reviews before buying another slimline subwoofer. I had one that I bought in March of 2023 and it worked great until it didn't work. I called Roku hoping for some help or resolution, but alas, nothing. So, I was going to buy another one, but it appears my problem isn't isolated. Not sure I want to take a chance on another one. Disappointed.

Like a lot of the other reviews here, sub just stopped turning on one day. Of course it isn’t covered by warranty anymore. Will never buy a Roku product again

Hi Matt, thanks for taking a moment to share with us. We have a few suggestions that may help! Have you tried resetting the Roku wireless Bass? It has a reset button on the back. To reset, press the reset button for 5 seconds. After doing the steps, pair it with your Roku TV or Roku Streambar. Go to Settings > Remotes and Devices > Set up a new device. Here's an FAQ article to help you pair the wireless speaker: https://support.roku.com/article/360006911394. If the issue persists, you can contact our support directly at support.roku.com/contactus to get started and connect with an agent. Your feedback is very important to us, and we're eager to assist.

Have un-plugged and re-plugged several times and still not working. Software does not recognize the subwoofer. Please help. also...software is up-to-date.

OUT OF BOX FAILURE

Unfortunately I did not unbox and connect until after the 1-year warranty was passed and wouldn't you know it.. fail. No light. Wouldn't connect- All the very helpful people advising me to do all the things I already tried several times- Having the chat session disconnect seven times and having to start anew each time.. no speech to text functionality on the support chat.. horrible. They did send me a 30% discount coupon code, but sheesh.. after reading the reviews I'm thinking I'll just pass on a replacement unit. My Smart Soundbar is just fine. Overall I am a big ROKU fan, but this was a bummer. Open and hook up your gear as soon as it arrives people!

Can't hear the difference

I know I may be spoiled by my two 12" subs in the trunk of my car... but I have even put my hand in this Roku Subwoofer, and I can barely feel it vibrate. I still have no depth to my music, or with my roku soundboard during movies. Guess I should have sprung for the sub pro!

Hi there, thank you so much for your feedback. As a bass-enthusiast, you've likely already played with the settings, but as a quick tip, each user can fine-tune their listening experience by adjusting settings like sound modes, speech clarity, and volume modes. To increase your bass settings, navigate to "sound modes" and try selecting "Bass boost" to enhance the deep bass sound you're looking for.

If you haven't already, you may also try placing your subwoofer in a corner or closer to a wall, rather than at the front of your TV setup. As sound waves reflect off other surfaces especially a flat surface like a wall, this will typically produce louder bass sound.

We greatly appreciate you being a Roku fan and we'll be sure to pass your valuable comments along to our product team.

Thanks again and Happy Streaming!

Very easy to install, the soundbar subwoofer combo

It definitely was an upgrade from just having the sound from the t.v.. however the bass doesn't get that loud, either when listening to music or watching t.v.. and the soundbar sounds cheap when listening with volume cranked up hi.. I'm actually disappointed and feel I wasted my money and wish I can upgrade to the 10" wireless subwoofer!! That way I'll be able to feel the bass when watching movies and/or jamming out to some music!! Would be awesome for someone from customer service to reach out to me and make things right!!!!!!

Worthless

Love Roku, but they should be ashamed of selling this product. It does absolutely nothing. I returned mine 30 minutes after installing it. I even went on the TV and updated all of the settings for the best outcome. The outcome is it is a piece of junk no matter what.

Hello there! We appreciate you sharing. This is not the kind of experience that we want you to have with our product.

Please note that the Roku Wireless Bass requires either a Roku Streambar SE, Roku TV Wireless Soundbar, or a Roku TV with Roku Wireless Speakers. In the future, if you have issues or questions about the Roku product, contact us at http://support.roku.com/contactus.
