Never had a projector before but it is great. I don't even have a screen for it yet and it still views great on my beige wall. My husband was hooking it up and had his friend over while doing it. Now he wants one as well!

I was not at all impressed with picture quality once I backed the projector away from the screen for a larger image. The image quality quickly deteriorated
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
