I love this little tripod. It is easily portable and is built extremely well. It feels solid for being so small and is easy to put in pocket while attached to my phone. It is a little pricey but I think it's worth it.

Great tripod and very sleek

The tripod itself works great as intended. The magnet is strong and sticks to the back of my iPhone 14 pro without falling off but it does misalign occasionally. Definitely a sturdy tripod and adds some weight to my phone. The tripod came a bit defective, the legs didn’t line up properly when retracted, BUT customer service was great and sent out a replacement immediately after I filled out their warranty form.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Outstanding Mobile Tripod

Peak Design always designs things the way they should be and not to be the cheapest and the Mobil tripod is no exception.
It is on the heavier side, so I only take it with me when I expect to use it. In any case it fits in your pocket comfortably.
I’ve found the best set-up for upward angled photos to be rotating the ball head so it’s kind of facing backwards, like in my photo.
On the iPhone 12 mini it sticks out the base slightly that might get in the way if you carry it around with you constantly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I won a free Mobile phone case from guessing on the Apple 2022 Event, and I instantly knew that this mobile tripod was the one definitive attachment I wanted to use for the phone case. I had a slight hiccup initially attaching the tripod upside down. The magnet attachment was weak at first, but I remembered the PD logo is supposed to be near the bottom of my phone from photos on the website. After that simple switch, the tripod was strongly affixed to my phone and I've been using it all over. Propping it on my desk at home, at work, on the pull-down table on planes. I've only had this tripod for a few weeks but I've already gotten several compliments about how nifty it is from a flight attendant and coworkers.
Not only can you prop your phone up with the traditional three legged-tripod, but you can also put out all the 3 legs together as a single unit so it keeps the phone upright. If you rest your phone horizontally, you can also have those three legs work in unison to keep the phone flat for wide-screen viewing. If you have all three legs out in the traditional tripod mode, you can "unstick" your phone and place it back on the magnet for horizontal viewing.
The tuning key works great, but only works for the ballhead and not the legs (which is fine). All in all, a great phone tripod. Haven't used it to take photos, but for browsing on apps or internet browser it's great.
Sidenote: I was debating about getting the tripod and/or the stand wallet, but I think the tripod is the superior one if you care more about the "tripod/stand" aspect instead of card-carrying.

handy and solid build

This is quite helpful though I don't always leave it attached to my phone (Pixel 6 Pro everyday case) as it adds some weight and pocket bulk, but when I'm at home I usually leave it attached.
The reason I dropped a star is due to alignment issues. When attaching the tripod, it is nearly always crooked probably because it lacks the vertical magnet piece to straighten out with the case/phone. For the price point I expected better, but it isn't a deal breaker for me. Perhaps v2 could correct this snag by slimming the legs and adding a solid back piece attachment point. The other option would be to offer a version that utilizes SlimLink. I'd be happy to test a prototype ;-)
The build quality is solid and integrating the adjustment wrench is brilliant. Using it in both profile and landscape increases its usefulness for me and using a 90 degree cable plug allows me to charge even while in profile orientation.

A Small Accessory That Does Great Things

Despite reading up on this tripod before I ordered it, I was still taken aback at how small it was when it arrived - especially for how durable and functional it is. This mobile tripod is great for setting my phone up to take pictures - I've already used it on tabletops, streets, world heritage sites, and plenty of places in between.
Not only that, but I leave the tripod out on my desk all the time. It's a perfect place have my phone to pick up a video call, to leave the phone charging, or to run music selections while I do work.
The tripod attaches quick and easy to my Peak Design phone case. It's quite small and portable - but I will admit that I keep my phone as sleek and light as I can. So while this tripod would definitely stay on attached to my phone if I dropped it all into my pocket, I always make sure to pull it off my phone when I'm not using it.
