I love this little guy

Totally usable use it every day multiple times a day I really love it.
I wish I could use my MagSafe charger through a pet that doesn’t work and I wish the magnet was a little bit stronger and it stuck to my peak Design iPhone case a little bit better.
BUT… I still love it!
I use it when I’m taking selfies. I used it to have better grip on the phone. I use it to watch videos. I use it to have a hands-free flashlight.

Perfect for my uses!

I have had this for about two weeks and absolutely love it! I am doing a Time-lapse filming of me photographing spaces for my social media feed. It is also perfect for reading my phone either in landscape or portrait without me, holding it; like a mini desktop computer. Uneven surfaces, no problem. So much better than looking for a book or a wall or something to prop my phone up against so I can get photos or video that I need. The other advantage being the phone is vertical for more professional look.

Very functional if a little heavy

After using whatever was on hand to unsuccessfully to prop up my phone for viewing and photos, I purchased the mobile tripod. I find myself propping my phone up on the tripod even when I could lay it down just for the sake of using it. While it is a bit heavy, it's so easy to remove and reattach that it's not a major drawback.

The design, functionality, and build quality of the Peak Design Mobile Tripod are truly outstanding. I was so impressed with my first one that, after losing it, I promptly bought another. Additionally, I've happily shared this exceptional tripod by gifting it to friends and family.

At first I wasn’t sure if it was going to be worth it… but then I got it and it works great! I’m excited to use it on vacation for real use cases but so far in my testing it has been really good. You can tell that thought has been put into every part of the products - from the tuning key to the dust bag to the build quality. The only downside I would say is the additional weight that it adds when attaching and carrying it with your phone - as well as the price but understandably it is a luxury product for a relatively luxury price, as most things from them is.

Not for everyone, but a marvellous bit of kit

Bought alongside a case for my Pixel 7a, this little magnetic tripod really is fantastic. Awesome design, sleek, subtle, it adds only a little bit of bulk to the phone case.
While a bit awkward for jean pockets, I've had no issue with the (little) extra heft when carrying it in a coat or jacket, which is more likely when I'm out and about using it for photos. But considering it's magnetic, it's also super easy to remove when I don't need it. I've found the little carry pouch that comes with the tripod to be very helpful in this regard. It means I can store and protect the tripod, but it's on hand if I decide I need it.
The tightening tool is my only minor gripe. It can be a bit fiddly, to the point where I'm not even entirely sure how much of a difference I'm making when I use it, buuuuut that said I've had zero issues with stability and am enjoying the overall versatility of the tripod itself.
Sure, it's a bit pricey, and not needed by everyone, but it's also the only mini tripod that ticked all the boxes for me. Functional, compact, useful: a great product and another win from Peak Design.

Great Tripod

I bought this a couple months ago and feel like I’ve gotten enough use to write a good review. The product is nothing short of perfect for its purpose. I use it daily to post up my phone at the gym. If I had to recommend a change I’d request that the adjustment key not be a magnetic material. I also have the wallet with stand which is another great product. What happens is the key often gets magnetized out of the tripod and stuck to the wallet. I usually end up finding it bouncing around in the dryer as it almost always falls off the wallet and stays in my pants pocket. Regardless of this I’ve gifted PD products and everyone love their new kit.
