Great in its mobility and versatility!

My first impression of this mobile tripod was that it was lighter than I had imagined. On top of that, it can be tightened enough for my personal use. I also have my wallet stand, which works great, by the way, and I always attach it to the back of my iPhone. However, it doesn't leave enough space for cable connection when my phone stands vertically. This tripod, on the other hand, allows you to do this (although you might need to use an L-shaped cable). If I were to start over, I would buy a MagSafe wallet with no stand functionality and this tripod, because the bit of extra weight would not be an issue for me.
Now, as for versatility, I have come to the conclusion that this tripod works pretty well as a tenting stand for a separate keyboard if you own two of them. I have actually bought two to magnetically attach to my separate keyboard for a tenting purpose. Unlike other tenting stands, this one also allows me to tilt my 40-percent separate keyboard to a 50-degree angle or even more with pretty decent stability. Thanks to its size and weight, I can easily create an injury-free workstation anywhere. As I continued to use this for a few weeks while still experiencing pains in my palms, I was able to use my keyboard comfortably, and eventually, the pains are gone. I don't imagine that Peak Design has thought of this, but it works perfectly for me. In whatever ways you imagine using this tripod, it probably works.
Maybe, just maybe, the only downside is that the lower part of the attachment is not magnetic, which is perhaps a trade-off for its lightweight. Personally, I would prefer a stronger magnet over its lightweight. Also, only one of the three legs are adjustable in tightness, so some may see this as a disadvantage.

Solid and versatile

I had already bought PD products for my son so I knew I was buying quality. But the tripod was so versatile and easy to use. Hiking and biking were our activities but the tripod made non-handheld “selfies” so much easier no matter what we had to set the phone on. More often than not, it was sheer rock jutting up from the ground near a ledge or uneven ground or piles of gravel at trailheads. All easy to set up and easy to carry unlike other bulky or odd mobile tripods I’ve carried that never really fit anywhere convenient.

Super convenient

This is my favorite phone accessory. This does away with the tripod I carried in my small hiking backpack. It feels very highly quality and the magnetic attachment is very strong. It is not bulky but is quite heavy though. Feels like you're carrying two phones in your pocket. I don't leave it on my phone at all times though so that hasn't been an issue. The price is high but the quality and design justify it, and I've been able to capture amazing moments I would have missed without it. That alone makes it worth it for me.

This is such a versatile accessory that needs to be in everyone's kit especially since you don't always bring a tripod with you everywhere you go. With the Mobile Tripod, this is super handy to be able to set up shots with your group whether photo or video. Ultimately, the best gear is the one that you bring with you and this can live mounted on your phone or in your pocket, sling, or backpack.

Bought this a couple months ago, thinking it may be a gimmick or I would use it a couple times a year. Far from it, I use it daily now when I need to prop it up for business meetings, browsing, or watching videos. The wow feature for family is when Granddad doesn't have to volunteer to take the photo and not be in the family picture (use my watch to snap photos or the 10 second timer) and I don't have to use random things stacked under my phone to find the perfect angle!

I love this product, with my only request being that of possibly making the magnet stronger. With “ordinary wear and tear” during a recent hike, somehow it got dislodged from the back of my (also PD) phone case and sadly got lost. My sister who owns this too mentioned she keeps hers in her bag because it has come loose as well. But I love it so much I bought a 2nd set!

Nifty, compact yet sturdy.

Bought this to shoot time lapse of boats passing by. Decided to get this as taking out my big tripod was a bit cumbersome. This little thing is well built. Though it does add some weight to the phone but it is very sturdy. It has a place on my jeans back pocket whenever I go out for times when I want to be in a group photo.
