Better than expected

Bought as photo accessory for PCT thru-hike attempt. I know it will work well for that. What surprises me is how useful it is as a phone stand for just browsing, youtube etc. Can even stabilize on my knee or the squishy upholstery of a sofa arm, no limits to viewing angle like other minimalist stands. It’s the kind of thing you don’t know you “need” until you have it.

I got this to go with the Peak case and it works great. It is a perfect stand for the iPhone and also very stable as a tripod. The key to tighten the joint is perfectly designed to fit and won't wall out or get lost. Definitely recommend!

As has been the case with owning Peak Design gear for the last 7 years, the gear is a bit expensive and takes some time for me to pull the trigger, but I never regret it when I do (5 bags, straps/leashes, etc.). The Mobile Tripod carries on this legacy. Beautifully designed and executed, more useful that I had hoped, and it continues to inspire. Thanks again, PD!

Couldn’t be a tripod

Well you really just have to have 1 of these for your mobile phone ! … soooo slim & even doubles up as a fidget device … the attention to detail in the engineering ..even when in the closed position the “ball “ has been machined to be flush (flat) with the rest of the device … it does add a bit of bulk & weight to your phone , so you may carry it separately… in the pouch provided ! Only way to improve this would be to have had the square protruding even a few mm just to help with alignment of the case , but not a big deal.

I've been looking for this type of accessory for a long time, and I recently came across a Youtube review presenting the Tripod from Peak design.
The product is perfect for the use I was looking for. You can take it out in a few seconds, it fits perfectly on the iPhone even without the brand's case and it's so much better than trying to place your iPhone for selfies or small videos when you're alone.

Super small and super useful!

This may be the best thing that Peak Design has made and I've owned more than 20 products from them. Super secure, slim, slick, and handy. Slap it onto a cased or naked magsafe iPhone and you have endless viewing and photography angles. Don't leave home without it!

Just what I needed

This little sweetheart is perfect for my forest dog walks. I no longer struggle to position and hold my phone for a shot while juggling the dog leash. The tripod has made my life so much easier and my photos clearer.
