Great Bar Mount for Commuting and Longer Rides

I have had the Universal Bar Mount for almost 6 months so far, and it has been on my bike everyday commuting to work and in the (very limited) sunny weekends (this is Ireland after all) for longer rides. I am a big fan, it is very easy to put on and take off the bar, works perfectly with my PD iPhone 16 case, and the price is very reasonable for how well though out and durable this accessory is. Definitely a good value phone accessory from Peak Design.

I bought this about a month ago and have used it on a couple rides and it works great. Phone is very stable while riding and i can rotate the mount on the handlebar so the phone is at the perfect angle.

Stable and secure

Universal mount worked on my bicycle and felt secure with a secondary clip to keep the mount secured. Easily accessible for phone for a safer ride and keeping my speed and distance metrics up. One hand removal of phone was a nice feature

I bought this a month ago and I used to have other phone bike mounts I'd be worried about my phone coming out of or the mount wouldn't be strong enough, not this one though. It's as solid as they come.

Got ruptured easily!Need a longer length version!

Wish the length could be a bit longer, the modern bike handlebar is wider than the traditional. It got ruptured easily. This situation also has happened to many of my bike friends. I like the product a lot, but please to consider to have a longer length version!!!

Strong enough for mountain biking

I put this through some serious down hilling in Telluride bike park the mount held securely. The metal jaws are truly secure and work very well with the Pixel 9 Pro case.

Best way I've found so far to attach phone to bike

I have a couple of the Universal Bar Mounts on my bikes. I lead rides and it helps to have my phone handy for directions, photos etc. The phone (with PD Case), mounts and dismounts quickly and reliably. The magnet helps the phone find it's place. Much easier than the Quadlock I used before.

Functional for Commuters

I upgraded bikes last year and could no longer use my out front bike mount (big plug, it was a fantastic product) and needed a new mount for shorter city rides on my new Canyon areo handlebars. While it's not a perfect fit, it's held tight while riding some questionable terrain (i.e. stairs) and I love having my music and directions accessible on longer rides.
I'd love to see a V2 someday with more focus on wrapping around less circular bars and more dynamic shapes (like my areo bars, or Swedish grocery carts)
