Perfect for the Display Shelf OR the Toy Box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a 60+ year old, I am extremely familiar with Fisher Price Little People. My kiddos loved all things Little People when they were little and now my grandchildren continue to play with/love the farm sets, fire trucks, buses, etc. I have yet to find a Little People play set that disappoints...and this is no exception. It is made with the attention to detail that those familiar with Little People have come to expect. Examples: E.T.’s glowing fingertip and his wrinkles, Elliott’s flashlight, and Gertie’s hairstyle. Figures are about 2 4 inches tall...perfect size for toddlers to tote around. Extremely durable...Elliott was able to survive a spin in the washing machine with no ill effects. Hard to believe it’s been 40 years since the movie was released...one of the sweetest movies ever made. Love that the packaging states the recommended age range is 1-101. How true! This is perfect for the display shelf OR the toy box. What’s not to love? It is entirely perfect! Without a doubt, would recommend to others!

Fun for the family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On first opening the package I noticed these seem to have a little more weight than the little people we have. They are fun for the whole family. The adults enjoy reminiscing as they are so realistic to the ET of our time. The kids love playing with them because they are fun to use.

It's iconic characters you know from the movie! They are wearing the clothes just like they did in the movie. The background that comes with it is great as well!

ET came to my home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right away when receiving the packaging, the black and dark blues box takes me back to the original E.T. toy line from the 80’s. My only gripe would be that the packaging be friendlier if one wanted to place the figures back for display. Fortunately for me this would not be the case as I would be introducing my two year old daughter to ET, Elliot and Gerdie. She immediately welcomed all three of them to her other toys and they have not left her side. The paints on the figures were also movie accurate and brightly colored. This line is a win for parents who grew up with ET the Extraterrestrial and want their children to know about him too.

So nostalgic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Growing up, one of my favorites has always been E.T. My daughters also collect Little People. So my inner child was screaming when I saw they made a Little People E.T set! This set is beyond adorable and perfect for any fan! The box is so heavily detailed and eye catching. It really pays a beautiful tribute to the movie. E.T is so detailed as well as both kids. They resemble their characters so much and we love playing with them! Yes. We opened them up but I definitely had to sleep on it. But come on. I couldn't let them live in the box. They were meant to be enjoyed. And we definitely enjoy them! We spend hours playing and it makes me so happy to see my kids smile. I let them watch the movie after and now they understand the magic it brought my childhood. I completely recommend this to any fan! Open box or not

Great addition to our collection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute Little People set to add to our collection. Like all Little People toys, the figures are great quality. I like the details, especially how ET's finger and belly look like they're lit up and how Gertie is holding the plant that she gives ET. I wish that a bike and basket came with the set, for Elliot and ET to ride in, as I feel it would have really completed it. We used another Little People set that had a bike to play with the figures, but even if only used on a display I think a bike and basket would have been a nice addition. The figures fit fine on this older set so I assume it could be used on others.

Fun Throwback Toy
