Monster Rock Hot Wheels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cool setup, except every time we play with it the trucks collide. Usually one truck hits the hole in the 'river' which stops the other. The end of the course is cool. The two Monster Trucks that came with this toy rock.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Exciting monster truck course, hours of fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Race Track is so fun! Very easy to assemble thanks to clear and well designed instructions. Once the Monster Trucks fly down the track, the gate opens and different obstacles pop up! The track is easy enough to reset that my 3.5 year old does it all on his own. Highly recommend this product. Works best on a flat surface.

Fun Track!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mason and Reid were VERY excited to play with this Hot Wheels track. They are very into Monster Trucks right now, so this was perfect. The set comes with two monster trucks. They had a blast releasing the trucks at the gate and seeing which would race to the finish. This is definitely a fun playset!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since we first saw a commercial for this new playset, my little one has been chomping at the bit to be able to play with it and I'm happy to say that it didn't disappoint!
Parents, I'm going to share some details from my perspective, along with thoughts from my 3.5 year old in hopes of helping you make an educated decision on whether or not the Wreckin' Raceway playset is right for you.
My son so far has had a lot of fun playing with the track and racing his different trucks. He noted that the "race ends fast", so be prepared for at least 2 or 28 more races to follow. :) The Gators that pop up are a lot of fun and the announcer figurine is all sorts of fun! We've had so much fun reincorporating some of his older HW trucks, giving this set even more play value. It was easy to assemble and the bright colors really drew my little one in, as he couldn't wait to see "bigfoot race the alligators in the water fall!" That right there is what it's all about, folks!
His only gripe? That he couldn't connect this piece to other playsets like his Hot wheels Sto n Go garage. That's no problem for me though, as it helps me avoid tripping over one thing connected to another thing connected to another thing...you know, a typical Saturday morning. :)
From a parent's perspective, here are a few notes - The track sits at about 19" high, 44" long and doesn't collapse, so keep that in mind of you have space constraints. The packaging for this set was BRILLIANT, with a back-panel on the box that is easily lifted to remove all of the associated bits. What I really appreciated was the fact that there's indentations along the playset where the stickers are to be placed, so if you have OCD tendencies like me, this will help you breathe a huge sigh of relief!
As a parent, my only gripe is that sometimes the cars get stuck. Now, that's of no fault of the track; The size of the car, the weight, et al, all play factors. This is what happens when you have a Geek Dad.
Aside from that small nit pick, I'm so thankful that my boy and I had the opportunity to review this piece. It is a lot of fun and I've already been asked to get even more monster trucks so we can keep on racing!

Very Engaging Toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hot Wheel Set is so engaging! Two monster trucks race down to a cave that pops open to reveal a trophy for the winner. The trucks encounter a gate, little car forms, and travel over an alligator that possibly activate it randomly. Also included was a little action figure that can be placed at different locations and pops up when the trophy is revealed. It has provided hours of fun and competition for my 7 and 3 year old!

Fantastic Hot Wheels playset for 5 year old boy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 year old son loves Hot wheels especially the Monster Trucks. He was excited that the pla set came with 2 new monster trucks of different colors. He was especially excited to see a small human figure included since he said this was the first human figure he has in his Hot Wheels collection. The playset is simple enough with very clear instructions for him to assemble by himself with minimum help. The set also comes with a lot of big stickers that makes the playset more colorful and bright. All in all, my son loves the Hot Wheels Monster trucks Wreckin’ Raceway, and he gives it 5 stars

Cute track for younger kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old was in LOVE at first sight! This was quite impressive as we unboxed and assembled it all. The three different parts of the track are very colorful and it was easy enough to set up. I liked that it came with two trucks to race. It has a much larger footprint that I thought it would! The manufacturers tried to design a compact storage feature which does allow you to break the track down some to make it smaller for storage.
My little guy has had fun playing with this track set, but the crocodile snapping feature only triggers every few runs and sometimes the trucks ricochet and fly off the track never reaching the bottom. It's been fun enough to play with, but I'm not sure it will hold attention for older children very long.

Coolest monster truck track we’ve seen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children were very excited to open this because they already had hot wheels monster trucks but no track to run them on. The features/obstacles kept my son racing his trucks over and over. He especially liked how the winning truck makes the skull cave pop open at the bottom and the little human figure goes flying. My daughter also enjoyed setting up the track and watching the cars battle it out going down the obstacles. I particularly like how the play set can be transformed into a carrier for the track AND trucks, making it easy to move from room to room.
