Fun toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A fun first toy drone for little kids. It is simple to use as it only has a few buttons. The controller fits to their arm and is adjustable to the size of the child. My boys love going outside to play with this toy. The only negative is that the window and little buzz Light-year kept coming off and now we lost buzz somewhere after a crash. Also, this toy can only be used on a day with virtually no wind. Any little gust will take this toy with it.

To infinity and every room of the house....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon arrival of this product my son, who is 8 and very mechanically inclined, could not wait for it to charge and to start flying it around. He read the flying instructions and felt confident it was going to be like the box said 'easy to fly'.
On first launch the foam nose actually cracked and then made it a little unstable- we also noticed the ability To avoid objects didnt really happen. The door also doesn't hold buzz in very well - so we tapped him in. It took him a while to really get the hang of the three different buttons- he enjoys it but would prefer to have more independent control over what the drone does rather than it being almost a random selection. He made the suggestion of a little lever or joystick to control it for up down side to side and maybe actual number buttons for the 'stunts'. Having ADHD, SPD, and slight OCD make toys like this that you don't have full control of slightly frustrating.
However, he has enjoyed every minute of playing with it and wishes to collect all the others in the collection- and before you know it we will have drones everywhere!

This one never took off…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted to love this one so bad, but it had some flaws. My 6 y/o has been asking for a drone for as long as I can remember, so when we saw there was a Buzz Lightyear one, it couldn’t be more perfect. We followed all set up and instructions and went outside for our first launch. The ship sort of lurched forward and didn’t actually take off. It was apparent that one of the four rotating blades didn’t actually work. We never got to fly it. Maybe this was just a defective unit, which happens, but if it was a store bought toy I’d certainly return it for another one. My son absolutely loved the design of the toy and got great satisfaction from just playing with the toy without it operating as a drone. He loved the little man that could be removed from the plane and played with like a toy set. The design and pilot figure made it a redeemable toy for him. He also enjoyed running around and pushing buttons on the command wristlet even without then ship actually flying. After a few days of playing with the drone as just non RC toy, my son did lose the pilot. Although this is not abnormal for him, it was a fairly small figure which made losing it all the easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow!! Is this thing ever fun! My kids and i had a blast with this! I highly recommended!! It is very entertaining. I can see this being a favorite for a long time. It kept my kids entertained all afternoon. Very fun!

Fun, but a little confusing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a hard time knowing if it was supposed to be an outdoor or indoor toy, as some similar flying toys are only for indoors. We also are still learning how to do tricks. However my son loves it of course because it’s Buzz and he loves remote control toys.

Love this toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys absolutely love this toy!! They play with it constantly! They love the sound effects that it makes and the way the wristband controls it. The only complaint (which doesn’t bother them at all) is that the sensor to help it avoid running into things doesn’t always work the best. Now that they have the hang of flying it better it’s not really an issue. This toy is a major win!!

Buzz can fly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is probably one of the coolest drone toys under $100! We've got plenty of "cheap" drone toys that don't really hover in the air for too long. This one takes some getting used to, but the kids (& myself) enjoy it! Albeit, the tiny "space ranger" isn't actually Buzz Lightyear and tends to fly out of the drone. We just have him sit off to the side as to not lose him. The cuff control is adjustable and fits a 3 year, 8 year old, and 36 year old wrist fine! You do have to make sure you know what buttons do what, but that goes with anything. This thing can go really high, so watch out when you're outside and it's windy! Although the kids LOVED chasing it. Chargeable which is a plus, but the cuff does need batteries. Perk is Chris Evans' voice doing the narration LOL!
