Good little camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swann 2KI security camera is a good little camera. I have mine set up in my bedroom so I can make sure my dogs are not getting into mischief. The software that you have to down load to your smart phone is Apple IOS and Android compatible. There is many options you can set up for the camera in the software. The video quality is ok. But you need a you need a micro sd card the record video. It comes with a power supply and a magnetic mounting plate so you can mount on the wall. I recommend this camera and would buy other products from this company.

Clear picture and good sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Swann 2KI indoor Wi-Fi security camera for a few weeks now and the video is clear and loud. It has two way sound to hear and speak if you need to. The video is clear for me to see when it is bright and at night with the night mode. I use the app, simple setup, I can adjust the motion detection in the room I have it in as well as it can detect a person in the room even if they not moving. I like that I can change the sensitivity as sometimes on the app it could get annoying getting alerts every time there is a person moving around or going in and out of a room. But I do like this camera.

I have several Swann products all for different purposes - this camera gives a wide clear picture during the day, however if a room is dark and you log in to look you will be unable to see anything which isn’t great, however this may be because there is nothing triggering the heat and motion sensors. Overall a good edition to a full system, or even a stand alone monitor

Easy deterrence

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera comes with a complete kit, is easy to install, temporary or permanent. (Screw mount)
The App to monitor and control is rated a very high 4.7 /5 at the Apple App Store!
You need to access slower WiFi during set up, so be attentive to that in most installations. I didn’t need any tech support but it looks very good.
The range and clarity are very good in day light. Visibility at night is also good with IR function
You can use micro SD card to record local on the device.
I really like the warning stickers that come with it. I make the camera visible too. I want deterrence not to record some one breaking in. I want to incent bad guys to go to unprotected homes.
Besides we travel a lot and calling police remotely at 3am is not something I want to do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The most aggravating part of this camera is the tiny little power cable that comes with it, & they’ve designed these cameras in a way that you can use any other cord with it & they don’t make extension cords for it either. Not worth the inconvenience only useful for sitting on a surface. Don’t buy it if you plan on mounting it.

Great Buy Vast Improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I simply see this camera as a vast improvement over last year's model. Swann really takes product improvement seriously and this camera shows it. The video and picture quality is much more clear and responsive than what I've seen in pervious iteratons. The aesthetics of this device is more appeasing. The use of the USB-c is a great add as it will be easy to get longer cables for mounting. files can be stored locally using a micro SD card which is perfect as well.
