Awesome little device!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with the Kindle Scribe! Right out of the box, the battery had a significant amount of charge so I could set it up immediately. During setup, I was given the option to connect to WiFi and my Amazon account. And then it offers a free subscription of kindle unlimited and audible premium so I can fully experience all of the features. I love that! I downloaded my first book and got into several pages into it last night. The kindle is very pleasant on the eyes, even in the dark. (And of course, in dark mode!)
The scribe aspect of this kindle is so fun (and functional). You can open up the Notebook section on the bottom and it’s just blank sheets of paper. You can write/ draw whatever you like with the stylus and then swipe left if you want to add a new page. You can also create your own custom calendar, which I think it fun and therapeutic. And finally, you can add sticky notes to pages of the books you’re reading- and make hand-written notes there, too. This thing is fantastic.
The only downside I can see is that it doesn’t have any built in speakers to play the Audible books, so you have to be able to connect to a Bluetooth speaker to play/ hear those. But so far, my whole family has been enjoying this device.

Just like paper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The display on this really has to be seen in person to realize how much it is like an actual piece of paper! The text is very sharp and the fact that it can last months on one battery charge is pretty amazing.
The Scribe is a pretty thin piece of metal, but feels very solid, and I'm assuming the wider left side is designed that way to give you a good place to grip it since it would be difficult otherwise with how thin it is. The pen writes extremely well and even though I don't expect I'll use it much for taking notes in books (it's rare I do that) I do think I'll use it often for notes during sermons, to-do lists, and other random times that I would normally grab a piece of paper. I feel good knowing if the tip wears down it came with plenty of spares, it really is just fun to write with!
The device is kept extremely simple, which is good for most things but can be a little clunky when I think of just opening a document on my phone but with this I need to use an app on my phone to send the document to my Kindle and then open it. It's really not a big deal and is pretty quick, but I don't plan to do it for most documents, probably only for things that are longer reads. It makes sense of why it's perfect for ebooks...and I'm so excited that it automatically has my library of audio books as well!
Overall the Scribe is fantastic! It looks great, is thin and light, and will keep reading from hurting my eyes staring at a phone/computer screen. If you're an avid book reader (especially if you write notes in them) then this is a no-brainer, but even if that's not what you like to do it could still be worth getting for the times when you don't want to stare at a screen or lug around a bunch of books.

The writing experience on the scribe is like none other. The screen feels like paper. The pen writes so well on the screen. It is so smooth and satisfying. There is such an awesome selection of books that you won’t ever be bored. All of it is right your fingertips.

The kindle was very easy to set up and updating it did not take a long time. I think it's the perfect size, not too small or too big. It's thin and convenient and easy to carry in my bag. It comes with lots of free books, which I love and I can take notes and highlight easily in it. Love the pen, so easy to use

My new notebook

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am having a lot of fun with my kindle scribe. I have replaced my notebooks with this! I can create multiple notebooks with pages inside. It writes so easily, just like on paper. I can read my books on it, and I can also browse the internet. The pen is comfortable to hold and it is held on the side with a magnet.

Great for reading and journaling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this today and wasted no time setting it up. I attached it to my Amazon account with the help from customer service...easy-peasy. I have downloaded a few books already and spent some time reading. I created a notebook. There are several simple layouts you can choose from. I created a calendar which will be quite helpful. The included basic pen allows you to write as simply and easily as you would on paper. You can create sticky notes inside books you are reading. It is a 10.2" 300 ppi glare- free Paperwhite display. There are millions of titles in the Kindle Store. The Scribe uses A USB-C charging cord. In the settings, you can select your display brightness and warmness that makes reading comfortable for you. The pen magnetically connects to the different of the scribe.

Nice big Easy to read

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this because i wanted a new kindle, I had a small one and wanted a larger one. As a busy mom, the added benefits of the notebooks, lists, all in one is amazing. I love that the pen never needs to be charged. It takes barely any pressure and I can make numerous notebooks, lists to keep me organized, all while keeping me up with my books. I read at least a minimum of two a week!!! I'm so excited to keep trying out all the features this kindle has to offer. The pen is magnetized to the side, Charges quickly, there's just to many fun things to list!
