This product burns up within a month. I have had it two months and two products have burnt. I use as directed and no more than 3-4 times a day. It starts smoking and smells like something on the inside caught fire. It’s scary, both products have done this. I want my money back. This would be a great product if it lasted

Great brand inferior product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hadn’t been using a bottle sterilizer but when the Stellar Product Testing Panel I was looking forward to being able to provide that extra layer of cleanliness for my child. However, when I tried out the Baby Brezza One Step Sterilizer Dryer Superfast I was less than thrilled by its performance.
1. I would have liked to see some kind of warning about how everything vents during the dry mode. I had this set up on my kitchen counter and the bath my cabinets received was not expected. It also did not show that it would vent in the back, it makes sense, but a warning of sorts would have been helpful.
2. A latch on the lid would be nice. It just does not feel like it’s on there very secure and over time I feel like it won’t hold up very well.
3. I ran the full cycle, sterilize and dry mode, and at the end everything is still wet. The lid is covered in moisture buildup as well as the nipples and bottles. I ran it in dry mode after the initial run to see if this would help. Initially some of the moisture went away, but after the full 6 minute cycle we still weren’t dry.
4. Sterilize mode is pretty quiet. Dry mode is louder than I thought it would be. Sounds like a small vacuum running in the room next to you.
5. Cleanup was simple. There was very little water left in the reservoir.
6. The button is loose. You need to press it multiple times before anything registers. Makes it difficult to get to the cycle you want.
Overall the sterilizer is fine. I probably wouldn’t go out to the store to buy this model. Seems as though there are still a few issues to be worked out.

WEIRD ELECTRICAL BURNING SMELL

Concerned Dad here….
We received this from my mom as a Baby shower gift. We have loved this thing. We have only ever used distilled water in it since we received it. I’ve cleaned it and followed all instructions to a T. Now, three months in it is starting to smell like an electrical component is burning in it. I’m not exaggerating when I say that the entire kitchen and living room smell like an electrical burn or burning plastic. I’m afraid to use it. I don’t know if it’s safe anymore to sterilize our 3 months old baby’s bottles anymore. I love the machine and it has really been great but I just don’t feel safe anymore about it. Btw, I’m a master electrician and I know a burning component when I smell it.

FIRE HAZARD

I LOVED this product. It was trim, attractive, fast and easy to use. About 6 months into use, it caught fire. CAUGHT FIRE! I had noticed a burning smell a day before the fire and assumed there was a pet hair in the vent or a build up of dust. Wrong, it was the start of the electrical system burning up, as I later found out. It started sparking out the bottom and then my kitchen filled with smoke. We ran the unit outside and doused it with water. I usually would start the run and walk away. Thank goodness I was in the kitchen watching it and able to act quickly!!
Buyer beware! And please, everyone, monitor your units!!
Customer service was quick to respond and a replacement unit is on order (not this model). Very scary situation.

Received in February and it caught on fire in June

I was getting a strange burning smell and I saw many people online reporting similar issues. I opened the bottom after it started smoking to find that for the last week we have been smelling the burning of plastic and wires and that was getting fanned onto the baby bottles. I'll be making a formal complaint at saferproducts.gov but wanted to post here so you will all be warned.

Baby Brezza Superfast is a Super Breeze

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Baby Brezza One Step Sterilizer Dryer Superfast through the Stellar Panel Testing Panel. I loved the size of the sterilizer and how easy it was to put items in and take them out. This sterilizer dryer has three modes: Sterilize and Dry, Sterilize Only, and Dry Only. This was great for me as sometimes I need to quickly dry my pump parts after cleaning to head out for work today. All modes run in about 6 minutes or less. I appreciated some of the smart features like the integrated measuring cup and quick remove top shelf. Overall, the Baby Brezza One Step Sterilizer Dryer was roomy, easy to use, and a great tool to have to help take care of a baby.

Awesome product, shorter than expected lifespan.

We’ve been using the Baby Brezza Super Fast Sterilizer for just over a year, and for the first 12 months it worked absolutely flawlessly. It was incredibly convenient — fast, easy to use, and saved us a ton of time compared to traditional sterilizing methods.
Unfortunately, about two months after the warranty expired, it appears to have failed in some capacity, melting the discharge flap in the process. This was disappointing given how well it had performed up until now, and I would have expected a longer lifespan for the price.
That said, while it worked, it was fantastic and made daily life with bottles so much easier. If durability were improved, it would be close to a perfect product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible!

I regret buying this useless thing so bad! I have to dry my parts two extra times to get them to kinda dry. I have to then physically dry them to be able to use them again. What is suppose to be a 10 minute process is really about 40 minutes. I have to keep going back and pushing the dry button. I have the older version and it was great. For the price of this I expected at least some dry bottles.
