It has lights and music to keep them calm and entertained. Bright fun patterns which will also help develop their visual skills. The hanging toys will encourage motor skills with batting and
grasping. The Mat is great for tummy time which allows them to develop muscles in their neck, arms and legs. Definitely recommend, It’s perfect for all babies and makes a great gift.

Absolutely the best play mat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fisher-Price 3-in-1 Music, Glow and Grow Gym Activity Play Mat is the best ever, the colors can be for a boy or girl! We love how it can be used for tummy time or laying on the back and enjoying all the awesome toys! The toys is pretty much all in one, snail is a teether, rainbow is a both side crinkle, soft hedgehog that rattles, mirror so my baby can see themselves and laugh and giggle and the otter lights up and plays music. We take the otter with us everywhere we go. The play mat is very easy to assemble and machine washable! We absolutely love everything about it and the mat can be took anywhere you go! Highly recommend!!

Great Value Amazing Playmat

We previously had a “top of the line” playmat that cost $140 and my baby enjoys this fisher price playmat infinitely better. I think it’s actually safer as well. It’s easier to clean. My 6-7 month has enjoyed laying on it. And so has her younger cousin. Her favorite part is the crinkling sounding rainbow. And the green animal to teethe on. its not the one I would have picked overall at first in the store but so glad we have it because in action it totally changed my mind. Also EASY to move around and travel with.

The otter that plays music and lights up is a great feature that I haven't seen on other play mats and it helps keep the baby engaged in playing! She also loves the snail teether and rainbow toy! This was definitely a great addition to our toys to help keep the baby entertained in playtime in the floor!

Easy to use!

Playmat that Grows Along with Your Baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this playmat when my son turned 6 months old. I wish I've had this when he was still a newborn!
First, it is very easy to assemble. The frame is made of foam, unlike other mats that are made of hard plastic that is connected at the top to a musical piece. It makes the mat lightweight and easy to transport.
Second, the colors. From black and white (stripes, crosses, dots, teardrops, stars, wide-spaced and not) on the mat itself, on the frame, on the crinkly toy- what a great practice for eye control during tummy time and lying on the back! The orange color is also perfect (on the mat, on the crinkly and musical toy) for past the newborn phase. I would have liked it better though if the blues and greens where more vibrant like a cobalt or deeper/ saturated green for better contrast. The colors overall are not overwhelming (This is more for me as an adult as too many colors can inundate me).
Third, it has a teether! My son could easily hold it and place on his mouth, as large as his whole hand. Did I say that there was a mirror as well? And a musical today that is slightly bulkier (maybe to discourage the babies from putting it to their mouth- genius I may say!) and in orange color, too!
Finally, all these toys can be attached/ reattached on the mat and frame itself.

Other thing(s) that could make this mat a better is for the mat to be more padded as it is mainly cloth. You would have to place this on a low pile rug or rubber mat for padding and safety.
Overall, this is a mat that definitely can be used from newborn phase to infancy. Save yourself some money with this.
