Beautiful lighting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression was “wow this lamp is beautiful!” Very light but durable enough, in the instructions says to download the Fisher Price Smart Connect application, to use the cell as a control and it was very easy to download and connect my device with the lamp. The application has several options to choose the type of melody or sounds, different ways to adjust the colors and illuminations, you can control absolutely everything from your cell phone with the application. My baby loves it, she is happy looking at the colored stars and the animals reflected throughout her room, she relaxes a lot listening to the different sounds and after a few minutes she sleeps very pleasurably. It is an excellent product, I know that many babies will love as much as my baby, have fun, but at the same time relaxes them while they sleep. I recommend this product. I received this Smart Connect ™ Deluxe for free and all my opinions expressed here are very honest.

Great priduct

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product came in and I was very surprised. I have used other sound machines for my little one but it kept me awake because I can hear it through my walls. The very first time I used the deluxe soother I was impressed that I actually had to go back into my child’s room to see if it was still turned on!! It is by far one of the best I’ve ever owned. Thank you Mattel!

Disconnects all the time

The device is pretty good. Love the lights ans sounds. Only problem is it keeps disconnecting from my phone. Even if I am in the same room. I dont want to have to pair it everytime I've went out of range (leaving the house) and then coming back. It should be able to connect automatically when I come close enough. It's frustrating.

One of the best nursery items!

We received this when our LO was almost 8 months old and thought he may already have outgrown it. Not even a little bit. Naps and bed time have never been easier -- despite teething and being mid-leap. The projection calms and soothes him so much, as does the amber glow, and the sounds are so comforting and refreshingly different from the music with other mobiles/toys. (They nearly put me down!) Can't recommend this enough for the modern nursery!

Lifesaver!

Our 8 month old son had never slept. He woke almost hourly every night since he was born. He was difficult to soothe and often required nursing and rocking for 20 minutes (sometimes up to two hours) before being able to fall back asleep. We were always given a new 'try this' from the paediatrician that never worked and despite having a perfect sleeping 3 year old, we felt like we were failing. Incredibly sleep deprived, frustrated and feeling like we were at rock bottom, we purchased this product randomly. Honestly, this product was a lifesaver for us and I couldn't be more thankful! The first night he would fall back asleep on his own without us entering his room at all within 2-5 minutes of the soother turning on. Night two, he only woke twice all night from 7pm-7am. I would recommend this product to everyone. Especially those that have tried everything and are feeling hopeless... get your sanity back and try this product! Thank you fisher price! A rested mama is a happy mama!

Great Product

We got this when our youngest son was 2 1/2 months old, he is now 4 months old and getting him to bed at night on his own takes 20 minutes tops! He loves to watch the projections and they calm him and soothe him towards sleep quickly. I really wish this had been around when our 3 year old was born.

Great idea bad execution

So my baby just woke up at 1:15am. She sleeps with the brown noise on continuously. When she woke up I turned on the star projection. 2 minutes later the animal projection randomly turned on (which is bright) so I frantically turned it off back to brown noise and star projection. 2 minutes later the noise randomly changed to the womb noise. I changed it back to back to brown noise and star projection. 1 minute later the settling music turned on... this thing has a creepy mind of its own! This is all in the manuals Mose as I find the auto matrix modes useless since you cant change the volume of each mode and the music is much too high compared to the brown or pink noise. This is just frustrating!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
