Bought this as a Hub replacement for my AIMESH when I upgraded to 1Gb service. Took the older Hub and used it as an endpoint router. Setting up ASUS routers in a mesh network is very simple to do. Also wanted to upgrade to a 6E router as I now have computer equipment that the supports the new 6Ghz bands. Really happy with this router as it has a lot of features at the price point. Based on 10-15 years of owning ASUS products, I know my investment will be good for a long time as this router will co-exist in ASUS AIMESH configurations with newer routers in the future for many years to come.

Perfect AImesh partners for GT-AXE 11000. I have a few 6e devices and the range on 6e is really limited. I have a Samsung phone on 6E and of course my wife has t have an iphone which is limited to wifi 5. Wifi 7 is out now so the prices of the 6e routers are discounted so I bought a RT-AXE 7800 for a good price and are using it as a mesh (wired backhall) with the GT-AXE 11000 and is connected and is provding tri-band routing. Setup very easy. We have a 3000 sqft house and we have excellant coverage event out to the yard. So, if you don't have a 10g internet connection and stuck like me with 1.5g this is a great combination.

So far, so good. Setup was easy. I bought 2 and used 1 with a wired backhaul mesh setup. Coverage and speed are what I would expect. Time will tell if the system will perform as expected. That being said, Asus has a much more robust UI and feature set than Netgear. I’m really a fan of the Asus app interface and stability/options. Probably won’t buy another nighthawk product.

Astounded by the features I've never seen in other routers. Built in DDNS. Of course it lists users. But it also shows upload/download rates and how its connected. I.e. wired, 2.4, 5g or 6g. And native FTP. And the displays are modern and attractive, not like the simple utilitarian lists of other brands.

This router is a huge upgrade from Netgear R8000 plus its stable and has AI protection for free. Bandwidth increased drastically and performance is just awesome. You can't go wrong with this router. No disconnects either. Just wish I could afford there new WIFI 7 router.

Right out of the box easy to setup. Distance and speed are great for WiFi. I have a very old two story house with lots of twists and turns walls interfering every ware and I am not disappointed in the connections. I did purchase it for the AIMesh but have not done that yet, Looking to increase distance to yard.
