Love this cooker with All the functions you can make dinner in a snap.it holds up to 5.5 cups making family meals you can steam all sorts of foods like shrimp and rice together with easy read display and the great detail of instructions it's a 120v do it's strong enough to last and very easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS MORE THAN 5 STARS. I have tried to cook rice in multiple ways. Stove top, slow cookers, instanpots. All of it but none compare to this rice cooker. It did take about an hour so that is the ONLY downside but really just put it in and it does the work. The rice comes out SO fluffy and never overcooked! If you watch Uncle Roger on TikTok he would definitely approve LOL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this rice cooker for multiple times. The quantity it can accommodate easily is 3 cups or less for white rice. The cooking time is not automatic, you cannot increase the cooking speed or reduce the time of cooking. I was looking for manual time setup rather than a preset one. To cook rice it took around 45 - 55 minutes which is way more slower than the other traditional/manual cookers. Overall, if you just don't want to cook rice manually and can put it 1 hour before it's a good option to consider.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate your honest and valuable review of our rice cooker. Although we are sorry that our rice cooker didn't meet your needs, there are a few reasons why our rice cooker is designed to function and cook as long as it does.
The rice cooker NS-TSC10A cooks 5 (6oz. cups) cups of white short grain rice. This is uncooked rice that will roughly double in volume once cooked. It cooks slightly less rice for brown and long grain white rice because of the different water ratios needed to cook.
Our rice cookers do not have a manual time input for cooking because this will yield undercooked or overcooked rice. We tests tons of rice in each our our rice cooker models to ensure that the rice is cooked perfectly consistently. Our micom rice cookers will soak the rice before cooking and will steam it at the end. The cooking process can take anywhere from 40 to 50 minutes depending on the rice quantity, water and the environments temperature.
Traditional or more basic rice cookers will need you to soak the rice for 30 minutes before cooking it and to finish cooking the rice, it's always recommended to let it stay in the rice cooker for 15 minutes after it finishes cooking. This manual process will roughly take the same amount of time as our micom rice cookers. Many people don't follow these steps with their traditional rice cookers to reduce time, however, the rice's flavor and texture will be improved by adding these steps.

Wow just wow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love its design features: a retractable cord, a place for the rice paddle, a carrying handle, the ability to remove the various parts to wash them, and a sturdy cooking pan with easy-to-read water level measurements. It also puts out less heat and steam than my previous rice cooker or cooking on the stove, which is great for hot weather. I hadn't been cooking much at home due to the hot weather and I feel this rice cooker will pay for itself soon based on how much less takeout I've been ordering. I've had it for about a week and have tried just Jasmin rice and I'm very pleased with the results. The water level guides are helpful but it does take a little experimentation based on how wet/dry you like your rice. It is a normal part of cooking to make adjustments based on your preferences. I'm so happy with this rice cooker. I wish I would have purchased one many years ago. If you are hesitating like I was, do yourself a favor and get one!

My husband used to make rice in the microwave, but no more! Not only was this cooker easy to use but kept the rice warm until we are ready to eat it! It had easy to read instructions on the easy to clean cooking pot for any kind of rice meal! Love the retractable cord for easy storage! Great product! Highly recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Micom Rice Cooker & amp Warmer 5.5 cup Stainless Gray it’s everything I need and it’s one of the best rice cookers out there the stainless steel color is perfect since it matches with my other small appliance. The size is perfect it doesn’t take too much space on my counter. I love that I can cook rice and steam vegetables at the same time and it also has so many different options for other foods as well. Reading the manual it’s a must because everything it’s digital and you do want to get familiar with the different functions. My rice comes out perfect and so does my vegetables I love it so much I Definitely recommend it to everyone who wants a nice durable rice cooker!

I just wash my rice follow my recipe and its done in half the time. Having this wonderful counter appliance has been a blessing to helping the family not only help out but eat more healthy options.
