[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Amazon Kindle Kids 2022 Kids Edition has been nice for my 7 year old daughter to have so she is able to read more. The instructions were easy to follow and set up was a breeze. I like that the Kindle came with a kid friendly case (ocean scene. You are able to open the case and fold it in half to the back of the case and it kind of magnetizes in place so small hands are able to hold it. It also comes with a charging cord although I do wish it came with the charging port for the charger as well. It was easy to set up my daughter's kid account. I do like that you are able to have separate accounts so other family members are able to use it as well. The Kindle is light weight and the case is made very nice as well and is really pretty shades of blue and purple. I like that you are able to change the brightness of the screen up and down so you can find the perfect brightness for you. The battery life is amazing and last a really long time on one full charge. My daughter likes the texture of the screen and it reminds her of the texture of books. She isn't a fan of it not being in color where most children's books has pictures. There are a lot of children's books you are able to choose from but a lot of them you have to buy. I do wish there were more options with the Kindle unlimited. All in all it had been a nice reading device for her.
