Great - Convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this reader. It's small and compact gives you access to hundreds of books. My grandson loves to read and this is perfect and very convenient, because you don't need to go to the library for a book. The only drawback is that it didn't come with a charger had to purchase one to charge it
The speed is ok as well but not as fast as I like , overall great concept.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids really like to be able to read new books but I hate having hoards of stuff piled up so this kindle seemed like a good solution. There are many books available and they are easy to purchase and read. My only 2 complaints are the screen being very bright, my daughter Oakes to read before bed and I don't like her using a screen so bright at that time of day. The other issue is battery life. At first it was fine but now it seems like it needs to be charged every day. This devise has been great but I definitely expected it to last longer than it seems to now.

Love this kindle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this has its own kindle cover comes with it because my little one is always carrying this around. It helps make me feel secure that it will not get damaged. If by chance you do not like the cover, it is removable but I think its necessary and its cute. It is 6" in size which is perfect for my little ones hands and the power button is located at the bottom. This is ideal because when she holds the kindle, she likes to hold it from the top and with her other devices she kept hitting the power button on accident. I really like that this has everything for her to safely read without any distractions. When you hit the power button off it has this cool display on the screen sort of like a background that has different displays each time. I do like that when you close and open the cover it powers on and you can pick up where you left off. I love how the books have photos in between and keep her entertained. It is in black and white only which I think if it was in color it would be more interesting for everyone. It is easy to read font and clear for her to follow along. I love how it comes with 1 year subscription to amazon kids+ that you can claim or if you plan to gift this to a kid. We have reading time every night, it brings the family together. We made a reading goal list for how many books to read a week. It has made everyone get back into reading! We love it.

Not only has it ignited an interest in reading for the little one, but it has given confidence. So many wonderful choices and it allows everyone to submit their request for favorite books and trying new books. Such a great asset.

She is able to look up the words which is helpful. You can also track the reading which is also a nice feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really hopeful but that kindle is not for my child. First of all there is no color only black and white appearance of the books. My child is only 6 and still needs herbals bright and vibrant for her to be interested. Bad idea for younger readers. Another thing is I liked that my child can carry a library full of books in one small device but I feel the device is kinda small and can be lost if a child is responsible for it. I do think the design on the protective cover is cute and it can be a good gift for a older child .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
