Beautiful Barbie doll, she loves her dress, and as I expected begged me to get her a matching princess dress for her! But really she’s not sure how to play with it so she just carry’s it around with her, there weren’t any accessories for her to use to play pretend with so unless the kid has extra Barbie accessories it may be the same for other children.

Review from mom: it always makes me happy to see her face light up with joy from new toys, and she’s going to love it because it’s a toy regardless. But I’m a little disappointed in it. And honestly wouldn’t have spent my own money on this particular Barbie. Her earrings were the only accessory she had and they looked like little glue dots. The dress seemed cheaper than usual Barbie clothes as well. Her hair was stiff as a board and has become unruly due to the ends being glued together. I know she’s supposed to be a sits on a shelf Barbie but even still just trying to get her out of the package ruined her hair. My daughter loves it and that’s all that matters. But if I was going to choose a Barbie, especially for a Christmas toy, it wouldn’t be that one.

Lovely addition to our doll collection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Holiday Barbie is very lovely. My children love that her dress looks like a flower. Dress and shoes are removable. Her hair was very stiff and crunchy out of the box, but I’m sure it will soften the more she is played with. Overall a nice addition to our doll collection.

The dress is a little hard to take off/put back on but it doesn’t affect how my child plays with her. She is absolutely stunning and a new staple in my child’s collection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Gorgeous and overall hit with my daughter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] She’s a beautiful doll and her dress is “magical” according to my daughter. The only frustration has been that he arm is not articulated like my daughters favorite play line Barbie. Her hair was also a mess when I got the doll out of the box but my daughter didn’t seem to mind and wants me to help her restyle it into something different with braids. The gown is gorgeous and I could see collectors enjoying this doll as much as a child who enjoys play line dolls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I gave this to my daughter as soon as it came in the mail. She was so excited she didn’t want to play with it at first. She put it on her dresser. It sat there for about 2 weeks before she started to play with it. She could resist. She loved the color and the shoes.

Perfect for my Barbie Loving Granddaughter

that my granddaughter would be thrilled to get this Barbie...and I was right! Her eyes lit up the moment she saw it! As a child, I myself loved playing Barbies with my sisters/friends. Some of my fondest childhood memories include Barbie. That is probably why I am excited to see my granddaughter continuing a family love of Barbie. Beautifully designed! The bright red dress (satin and tulle) is really visually stunning! Easy to see that the dress was inspired by the poinsettia flower...petal shape is evident. The Barbie holiday dolls are always gorgeous, and this is no exception. Packaging makes for a beautiful holiday presentation that all Barbie fans would love to receive. A stand is included for display purposes, but granddaughter uses her doll for play. Movement is limited, but thus far, Barbie has held up well during her numerous playtime adventures. Granddaughter says she is the prettiest Barbie ever...and I agree. Would recommend to others!

A nice doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A really nice doll for the holidays. She's presented beautifully, makes a really pretty gift. Her gown is detailed and well made. Her shoes have a lot of detail as well. She also comes with a certificate of authenticity as pictured. My main complaint was that my daughter was underwhelmed by her hair. Her hair is beautifully curled. The hair has something in it to help the curls hold. The difference with this doll is that the hair is VERY thin. I feel like the regular Barbies have thicker hair. My 5 year old really brushed her hair too and the girls held well.
