Connection and functionality fail constantly

These lights are good “only” when they are sync’d and working properly. Problem is they are out of sync ALL the time. Sometimes they won’t shutoff. Or 1 light is a different color. It’s always a random malfunction and usually happens at bedtime. So you have mess with them instead of getting to bed.
You can just delete and re-add the device. You have get out the ladder, pull out the light and disconnect the power just to reset the light. Then you have to add the light back via the app.
If I could reset the light without pull it out if the ceiling, it wouldn’t be that big of deal. These lights fail constantly. And it usually happens when I’m not home. Which ticks
the wife off, cause she doesn’t want to deal with it. She ends up sleeping in a different room until I fix it.

Great feature for kids playroom!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I got this hoping to make the kids playroom a bit more fun. Had this mounted (I don’t trust myself with electrical) square in the middle of the room and it’s perfect! The kids love the colors! Their playroom has become a magical escape now and we couldn’t be happier. I had this mounted for me but the guy did it very quickly so it wasn’t difficult. The colors are great. Kids are thrilled. I would have to say this is a great addition to any place you need a little more color.

Easy Install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These lights are easy to install and their slim profile allows them to be installed virtually anywhere. I installed ours on the bottom of an HVAC soffit for task lighting in a space that is difficult to achieve due to it's proximity. It provides a soft but bright light that I use in a space for crafting. Connecting it was relatively simple and makes it fun when I have my niece sharing the space with me.

Great LED light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wafer light was not easy to install, so we have to wait a month and a half for an electrician to come and install properly. The location where we want it, is reason for electrician. I will say that it is light weight and we wired it to our porch light just to see it light up. We downloaded the subscription for remote use. It will be a fun light once installed on back patio.

Part of smart lighting system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 6" led, smart disc light would be great for someone to start a smart lighting system with it being able to connect directly to google or alexa without the need for a hub. Cync also offers a smart dimmer switch that will work with it. The transformer mounts fairly easily in the ceiling. Cut your 6 1/4" hole in the drywall and connect your wiring to the transformer. The wiring compartment is fairly small on the inside so if you are running 2 sets of wires into it (a line & load wire) it will be a tight fit inside the box. The ability to change the light color on the fixture is a nice feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for small bathroom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this for our small master bath. My wife leaves the door open and likes a little light in there at night so she can find her way. Obviously white light was super noticeable but having this and able to change it to dark blue really helped with my sleep and she's still happy. Installation was a breeze plug and twist and I had it up in about 15 mins including taking out the old light. It looks nice and sleek

Great light!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great light to convert over an older room to recessed lights. With the added benefit of being able to change the color of the light for whatever reason you can think of. Its a super easy install just cut a hole big enough for the light hook it up to power and push it into the hole, done. Then if you want to change the color you can hook it up to your wifi and use the phone app to adjust the color at will. Installed in my kids room and she loves it being whatever color she wants.
