Fantastic tribute to the 80s and 90s!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mattel did a fantastic tribute to capturing this 80s and 90s icon! Gloria Estefan’s face is fairly accurate. The texture on the clothing is what would be expected of a collectible mid-range priced Barbie doll. My favorite aspect is the shoes as they are particularly detailed and have a mild texture to them. My daughter instantly appreciated this doll after connecting her to the song on the coaster ride.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is so adorable. Beautifully painted face really completes the mole. Gorgeous curly brown hair from the 80s.The jacket is a soft black velvet material. Her boots are soft stretch velvet and leopard print. And can be pulled down like socks. The top inch of boots is inside lined with nylon stocking material. They are stitch hemmed at the top and looked well finished. Black stretchy pants that can go down just below the knee. Her jacket is tacked shut and shows off the red and green jewels and gold paint decor. She does have a gold bra and plastic necklace, but visible only when the jacket is open.I am so happy that her face sculpt really looks like Gloria Estefan. This Barbie comes in a beautiful packaging. She comes with a microphone in a stand. A must have for both fans and collectors. An awesome tribute to a music legend. This design is a winner! I Would recommend her for adults and tweens.

Get on your feet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Inspired by the "Get on your Feet" video from 1989, her outfit is on point! Especially the details of the jacket. The likeness of the doll itself is very good. As a Barbie collector, what I appreciate most are the small details and this doll does not disappoint. The jewelry, the oversized lace cuff and the thigh-high boots are my favorite features. The packaging is simple but makes it easy to display the doll in the box if that's your preference. Personally, I wanted to unbox her so I'm glad the stand was included.

Great Barbie Figure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great item. My 8 year old daughter loves it. This is made from high quality durable materials. Since taking her out of the package we have been playing non stop. She also has a great look and outfit. She doesn’t come with very many additional accessories and only has her mic, necklace, and stand. The stand is a little flimsy, but does the job, and you can get some pretty great poses. The figure may be able to stand on its’ own if you get the feet in just the right pose, but I was unable to achieve this. I do want to highlight that this figure does have great articulation and solid joints to boot. It also has a wonderful head of hair. The color is great and it is very soft and easy to play with. Highly recommended for adults and kids alike who collect Barbie dolls and want a high quality, durable, and fun figure to add to their collection.

What a beautiful doll! Her face is flawless and definitely looks like Gloria Estefan! Her outfit is detailed and well made, very faithful to the original outfit worn by the singer. She is a wonderful addition to my daughter’s collection!

Beautifully accurate depiction of Queen Gloria!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the perspective of a parent who grew up listening to Gloria Estefan, the likeness of this doll is incredibly spot on! She’s beautiful and her outfit is gorgeous (I was honestly super excited about her thigh high boots- stunning!). From my 11yo daughter’s perspective, she was excited to learn about Gloria and her trailblazing impact on Latinx music, and she loved the opportunity to add another Latina doll to her collection. She was also thrilled about her outfit, especially the boots. I subtracted a star only because my daughter wasn’t familiar with Gloria Estefan, and the stand that came with the doll wasn’t very sturdy at all.

Gloria Estefan as a beautiful inspirational doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gloria Estefan is an Iconic singing sensation. It is an honor to have a doll that commemorates her legacy. The box has been beautifully designed and the doll itself is a true liking to the singer. Her face is life like, the designer captured her beauty perfectly. Her outfit is just remarkable, truly a master piece that is showing the care and thought that went into the design and production. As a collector myself, I am delighted to own a piece of history. This doll is beautifully executed in all aspects. exceptional collector's quality trough out. Starting with her hair to her outfit. Just stunning. My daughter, (as a young adult who is playing with and collecting Barbies herself) her impression was "WOW". She was amazed by the doll's likeness to the artist and her outfit with the sparky little gems, were lighting her eyes up. Gloria Estefan is an inspiring person and artist. This doll made us do some research about her life and career - a day well spent and full of fun memories we shared.
Little girls need inspiration now days, more than ever.
I would recommend this doll to every age group of Barbie fans.

Lots of detail and a beautiful face sculpt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this doll from Mattel to review today. I'm not a huge Gloria Estefan fan per se, but this doll has a truly beautiful face sculpt, and the details on the clothing and accessories are really nice. The boots are super fun and the little bolo jacket is adorable. Underneath is a cute gold cropped tank top, and layered plastic gold necklace. I love her gold hoop earrings too (always a fan of earrings on the dolls). My only complaint (and why I didn't give her 5 stars), is that her hair was pretty funky in the back when I took her out of the box, and her belt is a bit reminiscent of the Kristin Wiig as Cheetah Barbie's skirt. The belt feels a little cheap next to the other accessories, but that's just my opinion. I'll probably trim her hair in the back for my photo shoots - but not sure what to do about that yet.
Overall for the price point I think she's a good deal. She's got a nice, unique face sculpt, killer boots, and if you're a Gloria Estefan fan, get one to keep in the box, and one to play with!
