Looks nice but I regret buying

I really want to like this monitor and when it works its great. But like others I have a consistent problem with Thunderbolt in a dual monitor configuration. After receiving a signal, one or both monitors will freeze up with the menu staying on the screen. The menu will not disappear and cannot actually be accessed. This means that the monitor cannot be powered off without unplugging it, which is the only way I have found to correct the problem. I might have to unplug the monitor 3-5 times in order to get it to work properly. Doing this every time I want to use my computer is a huge inconvenience and makes Thunderbolt more trouble than it is worth. You would think the problem could be fixed with a firmware update, but there is no update. I regret choosing this monitor and will not purchase another monitor from Samsung.

Unreliable, Black boxes with ‘Eye Saver’ or ‘USB C

Have had for at least two months, extremely disappointed. Black unresponsive screen, constant black boxes on screen that can’t be controlled by computer and block mouse activity. Eye Saver, Register product etc. Bought this for compatibility with a new Mac Mini. After several bouts, with inactive monitor I’m convinced it’s monitor/connectivity issues.

Does not work right with Mac Mini

Using the latest Mac Mini via USBC this monitor is unreliable, works at 1st but then becomes completely unresponsive after 4days of use. Only thing that gets it back is to unplug it and apply a hard restart the mac.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very inconvenient issues, constantly!

The pros of this Samsung monitor - 4K resolution (it really looks great) and Thunderbolt connection - what I thought would be perfect for my Mac Studio. That is all, because:
I have had nothing but issues out of the box with the monitor screen freezing, the menus remaining fixed on the display with no way to make them disappear, outside of unplugging the monitor, because, in addition, the power and setting buttons absolutely do not work when either of these scenarios occur. And it's not sometimes but nearly EVERY TIME I use my system - no exaggeration... EVERY SINGLE TIME.
I contacted support who asked that I completely unplug the monitor from the wall for an extended about of time to "reset the monitor." That seemed to resolve the issue for a few days before the same issues started all over again.
Not at all happy with this purchase. No firmware updates have been available since I purchased the monitor in June of 2023. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

DON'T BUT SAMSUNG MONITORS! I purchased a Samsung curved monitor and in the 2.5 years I had it I had to repair 3 times! Leaving me with no monitor and greatly effecting my work! Now that the warranty has expired I need to replace the entire screen with my own $! Very upset!
