Great watch, takes some time to figure out all of the functions.

Finally

I have been wanting to get a smart watch to track my mountain bike rides. However, I kept putting it off because I had a G-Shock Rangeman and a few automatic watches I like to wear. Finally, I did some research on the current market and settled on the Enduro 2. I love the use of theis watch for my rides but also use it for other exercise such as the gym or riding on in-town bike paths. It makes we want to go out and do lore rides. The sleep tracker is also so invaluable and a welcome surprise. I am a little disappointed with the HR monitor during exercise as it won't keep up with intense bouts with a quickly changing HR.

I purchased the Enduro 2 to support my adventures in the backcountry of western North Carolina, tenkara fly fishing and backpacking. The Enduro 2 provides reliable GPS mapping and exceptional battery life over multi-day trips. It also provides copious amounts fitness data to make the most of your workouts in and out of the gym. The Enduro 2 is very robust and a great companion for any adventure or training.

Best watch that I have had

I have had the Enduro 2 for just shy of one month. Only have charge it once so far. Have used it for running, walking/hiking, cycling, MTB, open water swim and yoga so far. Has given me good insights on sleep and recovery patterns. Thai product is more than a beginner would need but if bought by a beginner athlete is all they would need. Definetly more toward more experienced athlete due to all the data that it provides. Awesome product! Is my everyday watch!

Having transitioned from the Forerunner 945 to the Enduro 2 I am blown away by its battery life. While that's too be expected, it's still incredible. The size of the watch face is still something I'm getting used to, but it's not hindering my usage or comfort. My purpose for purchase was its battery life and mapping capabilities and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase! As an ultramarathon runner and adventure seeker, I highly recommend this product!

Rugged, solid, and precise!

I have owned and used Fitbit, Garmin Fenix 2, 3, and up until recently, the 5x series of GPS watches. All are great GPS devices. But the Garmin Enduro 2 watch takes the cake in mapping, battery life, satellite versatility, solar, flashlight, etc. All it needs now is a whistle! lol jk jk. After comparing Garmin, Suunto, Coros, and Polar GPS watches, I decided that the Garmin Enduro 2 would be an incredible upgrade compared to the Garmin Fenix 5x. Suunto 9 Peak Pro is probably comparatively decent next to the Garmin Enduro 2, but it doesn't have maps downloaded on it. The Coros Vertix 2 looks dope with its 60 days of battery life but doesn't have solar capability or the software that Garmin does. Thr Polar Vantage V3 looks cool, but its battery life is only 8 days compared to the Garmin Enduro 2's 34-46 days. So, the deciding factor for the Garmin Enduro 2 was its mapping, software, running algorithms, battery life, solar, flashlight, Multi-Satelite capability, etc. Love the watch! Hope it lasts a long time!
*Edit: The Garmin Enduro 2 is an impressive watch. So far I have only had to charge it once a month, which is fantastic. It is rated to last 34 days on one charge or 46 days on one charge with solar. And that is with wearing the watch 24/7, biweekly 10k runs, daily walks, using the flashlight etc.
(The device pictured is the Enduro 2, I just have a protective physical black cover on it).
For me the battery life is impressive, the GPS is accurate, coaching and training algorithms are cool, and its super ultra durable. (10/10 would recommend).
Comparatively speaking even though I haven't used the Coros Vertix 2 (impressive battery life up to 60 days), and the Suunto Vertical Titanium Solar (30-60 days), I have read that those watch platforms are nice but that many consumers have returned their Coros and Suunto devices respectively a couple of times to get them warrantied (Coros Vertix 2, consumers report that the battery loses versatility overtime, and that the dial sometimes becomes useless) (Suunto Vertical Titanium Solar, consumers report that there is an excessive lag when navigating around the menu it takes a while to do so). Both are excellent platforms, but based on reviews these devices need some additional firmware updates and make them more durable).
***Update: I have been able to alter the settings to get up to 38 days of battery on one charge (vs 34 days, turned off the wifi and changed it to just GPS settings). I have run over a dozen half-marathons from November of 2023 to April 2024, and the battery life is amazing. I've had no issues with the watch (knock on wood) and it's awesome.

Battery life is awesome

I bought this for the battery life to get me through long ultras--including my first 100-miler back in June. w00t!
Has a million other features that I love like training plans, maps, training readiness, other activity types and race profiles, PacePro, and health stats. Use the flashlight/night light feature all the time too. I could go on...
Great watch, highly recommend.
