[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had it a short while, but so far I love it. The keyboard is super quiet, the monitor is plenty big, and I love having a full-size number keypad. My only complaint is the keys feel a little bit smaller than normal, but no so much that I can't get used to it. The battery holds up well and the computer performance is great. I also like the finger ID on the power button, it is much better than the finger print slide reader on the older models.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this laptop as it presented the best value for money among all the existing products with similar specifications. I was excited to receive it and configure my account. In the time it took to configure a few account and run all the system updates, the laptop battery completely drained out. In addition, the laptop left really hot and I was unable to use it on my lap. The next day, I updated all the Lenovo drivers and the firmware. Surprisingly, the heating and battery issue seemed to have reduced considerably after the firmware update. However, the battery performance was still extremely sub optimal. I could hardly get 2-3 hrs on normal office work and occasional youtube. I would need to plug it in. Unfortunately, it did not fit my needs and I ended up returning it and buying a MacBook Air, which gives me similar performance without the issues I was facing with the Lenovo.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have always been a loyal Lenovo customer personally and in my career in IT procurement. This product was the perfect choice for my two daughters going off to college. Great price point and great service.
