Fan is good pump not so much

Have had this fan for about 3 months or less and worked great at first. The water pump in the bottom tank became defective to the point it would constantly pump water. Was able to get a replacement for the unit. Just tonight the replacement fan started doing the same thing. Have had multiple newair coolers with no issues but these new units just aren't the same.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disappointed in this product. We use in bedroom and it slightly cools the room. It also puts out alot of humidity . There is no function to eliminate the humidifier. We have considered returning this cooler.

Unable to purchase replacement filters

I just spoke to Newair customer service who confirmed replacement filters cannot be purchased for this model. Newair, please sell replacement filters for this model so we can change them out as necessary to keep the unit running and smelling good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very sleek, and convenient air cooler. The removable water tank and ice pack make it so much easier. 3 speed levels with minimal noise. Definitely recommend!

Great addition to my home

Love this fan, great addition to my house specially in my basement family area. What I like is that it has a water tank and ice pack that make the air feel like an air conditioner. Love it

Love everything about this.

This is a great cooler. I love that it has 3 pads and each of the pads are actually quite large. This allows it to get cooler than other evaporative coolers. I also really like how this has a large water tank so that I don't have to fill it up as often. This is great for a small room or isolated area. I use it like a fan near my desk and it does a great job of cooling everything off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

cooled our living room and kitchen

The unit works great. it made our living room and kitchen cooler by about 5 degrees during the hot summer here in Texas. the fan is really simple to use. just pour water in from the top, turn it on and that's it. if you want you can use the 2 provided ice packs to make the water even colder. this will allow for the fan to blow even cooler air. we use it daily and plan on using it during the winter as a humidifier.
I would recommend this to a friend!
