Works well, but I don't love the automated functions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ended up choosing this 1.8 cubic foot over-the-range microwave from Frigidaire mostly because it didn't need clearance for its door on the left side. In our kitchen, there's a wall on the left side and we discovered that the original microwave we chose from another brand wouldn't open. We wanted a sleek design with no handle, and this model was in our price range.
It fits well in the space and the door opens. It heats food and is much quieter than the old microwave it replaces. I think it looks nice, and fits the design we wanted. There are a few things I don't love.
I don't love the multi press system and don't find it intuitive or easy to use. Our previous GE microwave had a good reheat sensor function, but the one on the Frigidaire is more complicated and honestly overheats food most of the time. We have to stop it early to get the results we want. Similarly, it overheats beverages, so I just tend to use the 1-minute function instead.
I like that the interior is metal and easy to clean, but the outside can seemingly be only cleaned with water and dish soap, which is kind of annoying. The glass seems like it scratches easily and the control panel appears to have a plastic cover, which I wonder how long will stay looking good.
Overall, I like it and it works, but I don't love it.
