Magnet doesn’t work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for the magnet I work in a kitchen and they allow us to use a speaker instead of headphones well there’s a metal shelf about us that I was hoping to magnetize it to however the magnet doesn’t hold its own self up it just falls and fast. The speakers loud but I bought it mainly for the magnet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
