[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of those things that you don't think you need, but I am here to tell you that you do. This is so much better than your average stove kettle. If those are too full they make a mess of your stove when they start to boil. The water is dangerously hot and it is hard to get the water just right. This thing is the best thing that has ever happened to hot chocolate. It gets it to the perfect temperature without it being too hot. You tell it how hot you want it and it gets it just right. It is so easy to use and clean. It also looks great out my counter. I love the color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hamilton Beach electric kettle is great quality. The design is sleek and modern. I have used this several times for tea, hot cocoa, instant soups and such and it performs perfectly every time. It will boil your water within minutes and the water will stay hot for some time after! It is easy to clean upon first use, you just have to boil the water a few times and dump and it’s clean and ready to use. It is very convenient and a great product if you don’t have the time to wait for a stovetop kettle to boil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Variable Temperature Kettle is the one appliance in my house that is used multiple times a day from morning to evening by each member of the family. It's the ideal kitchen tool for any instance of needing to heat water quickly and safely. The main feature of the kettle is that it comes with six pre-set temperatures for making the perfect cup of tea or French Press coffee. If you've ever used boiling water to make green tea then you know that temperature really matters for proper taste! It's also a helpful for making kid-friendly beverages like hot cocoa that won't burn their mouths. Besides functionality, the feature most important to me is safety. The kettle automatically shuts off if there's no water in the chamber and after 30 minutes of usage. Knowing this gives me confidence in using the kettle without worrying about family members forgetting to re-fill the water or turn it off. It's a wonderful tool to have in the home.

Excellent kettle for teas and other hot drinks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having an electric kettle is a must have if you are a tea drinker like I am. I love tea - greens including matcha, rooibss, blacks, herbals, blends, you name it. I have loose leaf with all kinds of simply to fancy strainers/steepers as well as any different styles of prepackaged bagged teas. To enjoy tea properly it must be steeped at the correct temperature for the tea type. Boiling or too hot of water can scald the leaves and ruin it making the taste bitter. Heating water on the stove or microwave is hit or miss for the right temp and it's a pain to try to use a thermometer. The Hamilton Beach Variable Temperature Kettle solves that problem with six integrated one-touch temperature settings. It's so easy to use and heats faster. I fill it with as much water up to 1.7L, select the temperature I want(160 Delicate, 175 Green, 180 White, 190 Oolong, 200 French Press, Boil Black), hit start and when the water is ready the kettle chimes. It automatically shuts off and has a keep warm option. This kettle is great for heating water for other hot drinks like hot chocolate, French press coffee, instant hot drinks, etc. It's also great for recipes that need hot water in the recipe or for melting. The kettle makes the water easy to pour and measure too. Plus the window lets you see how much water you are adding or still have in the kettle. I do with the window was on the side for easier viewing instead of behind the handle. I have the stainless steel finish. It looks and I love that it lifts off the base so it is cordless when filling serving. Very well made and will help me make delicious tea daily for years.

The variable temperature really is what sets it apart as it's great to be able to pick your own temperature, especially when different people are using it. Overall a great product
