Rubber in Food?

No Replacement Parts! I love everything about cooking with the unit. However, I need a replacement gasket. It no longer can reliably pressure cook. The gasket is missing chunks of rubber - did this end up in the food? Since no parts are available - obsolete unit - it is virtually worthless.

3 qt pressure cooker

I love the smaller version. This is my 4th pressure cooker. :)
However, setting the timer is confusing. Still not sure I have it correct, so I also use a regular timer.
I also struggle with making sure the vent is closed when I cook something.
It's new.....hopefully I'll get used to these 2 things.
