[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a member of Hamilton Beach Ambassador program I received the air fryer/toaster oven to test. This air fryer comes with a removable basket making it easy to cook things like French fries or vegetables without the grease. The inside is large enough to cook a whole chicken. The temperature dial adjust from 150• to 450• making it possible to cook just about anything in a healthy way. The clean up is easy and no messy pots and pans left. I give this a perfect score.

Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven with Quantum Air Fry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven with Quantum Air Fry Technology is all analog, no push buttons or digital displays. The controls have symbols and the front glass lists the functions to it. Good capabilities for air frying and convention cooking. This is much better than using a microwave, and faster than a hot oven. It has a bump like on the outside back for fitting a 12" pizza. With the air fry, broil, bake, and toast modes, it is very versatile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this product for a little while now and I would definitely recommend it, it's quick at heating up, cooks food evenly, and doesn't take up a HUGE amount of space. What's great about this product is the fact that it's not only a toaster oven, but you can also air fry, broil, bake, and convection bake! Something else that I especially love about this product is the fact that it features a timer button for up to 30 minutes, which is super convenient! Overall, I would recommend and am happy with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this new toaster oven because I can do some many different things with it. I love that it bakes, air frys, and I can even make a pizza in it! It was easy to clean after I used it and it sits perfectly on my counter. I really like that I don't have to preheat my big oven for just a few things to eat! Everything I've made has turned out perfectly!!!

SUBJECTIVE
To me, this is a very good small convection oven, but of course, ALL air fryers are convection ovens. In my experience, the various air fryer oven designs exhibit varying characteristics. I have three air fryer/convection ovens: one large and this smaller Hamilton Beach that, to me, are traditional, convection ovens; and one fan-on-top oven. I find that the primary difference between the two types is that my fan-on-top oven is able to roast (crispier) meats to a greater degree than the more traditional-style ovens to yield, e.g., a crispy, medium-rare roast or steak.
One uncommon (to me) characteristic of this Hamilton Beach oven is that there is no middle rack position. I have a nine-inch cake pan that has a two-inch wall. This oven has two rack positions. On the lower rack position, the bottom of the pan is one inch from the bottom heating element, the top of the pan is three inches from the top heating element. On the top rack position the measurements are reversed. The result is slight uneven cooking, notwithstanding that the circulating air fan should yield an even all-around temperature. Again, the unevenness is slight and not an issue for me. It just is what it is.
As a toaster oven, this oven performs as any that I have used, yielding slightly uneven toasting. They all do as the heating elements are not equidistant from the top and bottom of what is being toasted. For me not an issue; one can always turn the food over at a half-way point.
For me, this oven is great for pizzas. On the product page, note that the “oven rack” has an arched back (which projects into the arched oven wall). The oven accommodates the 10.25” deep rectangular air-fry basket. It also accommodates the oven rack which is 12” deep due to its arching extension. Fits a 12’ pizza perfectly. The other nice thing is the (inherent) slightly uneven cooking. On the bottom position, the crust can be cooked to a crispier point without overcooking the toppings. As such, I disagree with the cooking guide recommendation that pizzas be cooked on the top rack.
One other feature that bears noting: on the air fryer setting (vs. broil, convection bake, bake, toast) one cannot preset a cooking temperature. According to the owner manual, “For Air Frying this Toaster Oven with Quantum Air Fry Technology sets optimal air frying temperature.” If only out of curiosity, I wish I understood how that could be. Types and cuts (toughness) of meat, e.g., vary in in their cooking requirements. Generally, tough cuts do best in low temps longer time; tender cuts high temps shorter time.
BOTTOM LINE
All said, I find this a very good convection oven whose quirks (according to me) I do not find objectionable. As an air fryer I have more experimenting to do but, at this point, I have no serious objections. That said, I think fan-on-top air fryers are more truly air fryers as they direct concentrated hot air directly on that which is being fried. Then too, fan-on-top air fryers are not as versatile as this air fryer toaster oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven with Quantum Air Fry Technology is the be and end all of my frying/convection/toast experiences! The toast is delicious, as is the convection oven - it takes less time and is fantastic! The ample room is a whole 5 lb. chicken and a whole 1 lb. of fries as more than I can eat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was smaller and takes up way less counter space as I thought it would, but is still super roomy and would hold a lot of food. Our first try was mozzarella sticks and they worked great! The booklet made it really easy to know what knobs did what and it’s very simple to figure out. Cleanup is also nice. Everything comes out to make it easy to wash, and there’s even a crumb tray at the bottom that slides out. Getting the cheese off that is a lot better than having to reach in and clean it at weird angles like you would a microwave.

My 1st toaster oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1st off this is my 1st toaster oven so still learning to use. This Hamilton Beach oven works great for toasting. I've used it for bagels and they turned out just how I like them (a good medium toast), something that tends to be more difficult to achieve in a regular toaster.
Until you get a sense of cook times, you might want to keep a close eye on some things, because I managed to burn cinnamon rolls, toast but like i said 1st one ever. Having not used this type of product before, I wasn't prepared for how quickly it gets hot. This is actually a plus because you can heat things up fast, but you need to learn how it works before walking away and filling the house up with smoke. Learn from my mistakes. The only big downside to this product is how hot it gets on the outside. From what I've read about toaster ovens, this is fairly common unless you purchase an expensive unit that advertises a cool outside temperature. I have tried to air fry some cinnamon rolls but came out gummy..(not done). I really do like it and highly recommend it..just have so patience to learn how it works.
