I recently got to try PMD Beauty Personal Microderm Elite Pro. I am super excited for this, because I love a good dermabrasion and get it when I go and get my monthly facials.As someone who is concerned about aging, I've been on a quest to find effective at-home skincare tools to address signs of aging and improve my skin texture. I’m thrilled to share my experience with it.When I first received the PMD Personal Microderm Elite Pro, I was impressed by its sleek design and ease of use. The device comes with various discs for different levels of exfoliation, making it adaptable to my skin’s needs. After reading the instructions carefully and watching a few tutorial videos, I felt confident enough to give it a try.Using the PMD Microderm was straightforward. I started with the white training disc to get a feel for the device. The suction felt decent and not uncomfortable, and I appreciated the guide that helps you control the pressure and speed. After my first session, my skin felt slightly tingly but not irritated, and there was an immediate smoothness to my complexion.I do have to flag, for some reason, my initial usage on my cheeks did some slight damage, but the mark was gone after a week. Over the next few weeks, I gradually moved to the blue discs for more intense exfoliation. I use the PMD Microderm once a week, and the results have been remarkable. My skin tone has become more even, and the texture feels significantly smoother. The fine lines around my eyes and mouth appear less pronounced, and my pores look smaller and cleaner. I even used it on my hands.One of the best aspects of the PMD Microderm is the way it enhances the absorption of my skincare products. After each session, my serums and moisturizers seem to sink in more effectively, boosting their efficacy. I also noticed a reduction in the hyperpigmentation spots that used to bother me.While I was initially concerned about potential irritation, especially with my combination skin, I found that being gentle and following the recommended guidelines prevented any adverse effects. I always ensure to follow up with a hydrating mask or a rich moisturizer to soothe my skin after treatment.The only thing I was confused about was the blackhead cap, it doesn't screw in as well or maybe not even properly. Because it definitely doesn't sit on the tool as well as the other two caps. And I can't even feel the disc on my nose with this blackhead cap. So I am not sure if this was a bad batch or this was what was intended or user error.The PMD Microderm is an investment, and since I still don't understand the blackhead cap, I would recommend to go for the lesser price one that doesn't come with the blackhead cap.If you’re looking for a powerful tool to boost your skincare game, I highly recommend giving one of the PMD microderm versions a try.

Do your homework first

I am not super familiar with microderm abrasion nor did I ever think this was a service I would enjoy at home. Think of this service as a not every day type of feel. The benefit will be felt afterwards. Do your homework and watch tutorials before you put it on your face in a sensitive area and also remember it has customizable disks that can be tailored to your skin type. Id like to watch a tutorial about how to clean off al the equipment its quite bc involved little it. It has a beautiful holding cell that you can plug in and display for any of your clients or houseguests to see. Honestly it does feel super luxurious to touch your skin after this service so be careful not to get addicted and over use the tool. It’s a not for every single day enjoyment. Very very effective and I can feel the difference after even one time use. My best advice is keep it moving or it could really honestly hurt….although I dont think it can actually hurt you….keep it moving. It will feel great after weather it feels great during the process or you get a little bite.

The PMD Elite Pro has three suction levels, with the highest suction setting matching that of the suction level on Personal Microderm Classic and Personal Microderm Pro. We consider the Elite an upgrade because it allows you to decrease the suction strength and decrease the speed of the disc rotation. This is valuable for individuals with more sensitive skin, or who want to target specific areas and take 2-3 passes without overexfoliating the skin.
If the Elite that you received does not have that same level of suction on the highest setting that you had on your previous devices, there may be an issue with the device itself. We definitely want to make certain you have the amount of suction you were previously used to having. Please be watching for an email from our team so that they can assist you in resolving this concern.
