PMD Personal Microderm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been dying to get my hands on one of these because I love trying different treatments especially with the luxury of being at home. I am familiar with different types of microdermabrasion machines, but I'm more used to the diamond tips. This machine was very self explanatory and super easy to use. I usually only do this treatment once a week so I don't compromise my skin barrier by over exfoliating. I typically do it on Sunday nights right before the work week begins. I always make sure to have a squeaky clean face before starting. I used the regular tip on the second speed to start. The key is to have full suction on the skin, HOWEVER, , it is an absolute must that you keep moving on your skin. You absolutely do not want to have the suction going on one piece of the skin because you will damage your skin. It's also best to have the machine at an angle when coming off the skin. If you have never done a Microderm I would absolutely start by just practicing without the exfoliating tip. After use, I will rinse my face with cold water to make sure I get any extra debris off my face before I put the rest of my night time skin regimen. Overall, I think this is a great at home machine and it has a lot to offer!

As a beauty expert who loves all things, beauty related: skincare, nails, makeup, hair, etc. I was so pumped to see that PMD makes the Personal Microderm Elite Pro. This is a tool that I definitely needeed. I could not wait to get my hands on it. I am almost 42 years old and take my anti-aging regimen very seriously.When the package arrived, I was elated at how pretty of a tool this was. It came in a nice hard top case and had all kinds of mechanisms. When I tried this, I had clogged pores and some acne. I applied the suction tip that would best suit my needs, and I went to work. After using this, I noticed my pores looked cleaner. My skin had such a healthy glow. I used this machine weekly and definitely noticed a remarkable difference. I love all things PMD and would highly recommend. 5 Stars

Great at-home tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been in the beauty industry as a makeup artist for 5 years professionally, and love to learn everything and anything about the skin. My best friend is an aesthetician, and she taught me so much about dermaplanning and microdermabrasion, and it’s tricky if you are new to either. I love that PMD has come out with Microderm device, because not everyone has the time or know-how for doing this otherwise. I highly recommend watching a video on how to use this, but if you start with the training disc that comes in the device when you open it, you will get the hang of it. There is a slight learning curve, so the best tips I can give it to make sure you’re skin is super dry (no sweat, no perspiration whatsoever), and hold the area very taut. Otherwise, it will drag and not really work. You should be able to hear the disc working when you run it over properly. And DO NOT go over the same area twice it hurts! I’ve included my Before & After here, using the device once a week for about three weeks now. (Disclaimer, I also used vitamin c and sunscreen during this time). I really enjoy using this because once you get the hang of it, it’s so easy to use and so effective! It had left my skin much smoother, helped with even texture, and really helped faded dark spots. I have PCOS and had some bad acne scars and this has done wonders for erasing them. I love this tool and I highly recommend it for those girlies who love a skincare day and love to have flawless skin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one review I couldn't wait to write. I've had the pleasure of being a licensed cosmetologist for 9 years now, and it's been a beautiful 9. Previous to my career as a cosmetologist, I was in the medical field for some years and I worked for a dermatologist and a plastic surgeon. I saw, learned and experienced alot in my time with those offices and I've seen the usual face lift, chemical peel, microderm, facials etc. I have had facials done before and extreme exfoliation personally but nothing and I mean nothing like the Personal Microderm Elite Pro can do. No doctors needed and no pain involved. This little magic skincare wand is my new best friend. The settings are great and the amount of disks it comes with as well as different grits. The vacuum suction is amazing and actually scared me at first because it was so strong. Love the face and body option. After only one use I was in love with how my skin felt the following day. I can't wait to see results in 60 days. This is a must have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a licensed master cosmetologist and I have worked in a plastic surgeons office, I have seen the best equipment in the industry and was excited to try the small compact micro dermabrasion device I have been in the business for over 34 years and love to do skin care, I love to give facials and to get facials and now I can use this small but very effective micro dermabrasion tool on myself and recommend to my customers. It is very high-quality and has the same vacuum sectioning the higher end tools have. It has numerous attachments to do even deeper cleaning. I love the look of it - it is so sleek, I love that it has so many different attachments for so many different areas on the face. It did a good job cleaning my skin and getting out the impurities - I love that it is rechargeable and so compact. I am so excited they are coming out with good quality tools that gives salon results. I highly recommend this tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been in the beauty industry for over eight years now. This is my first time using an at home beauty device that does microdermabrasion. I have been slowly incorporating this device into my routine as I already use strong skincare products that can affect my skin barrier. I figured that starting off using this product once a week (not on the same day I use a chemical exfoliator/retinol) worked best for me. To me, it was beginner friendly as long as you are careful on using it and ensure you are reading the instructions. I loved using this device at night time after washing my face. After using this device, I liked applying a gentle face serum and mositurizer. I also used a strengthening skin barrier serum for a few days to get my skin adjusted to this new device. Overall, my skin texture and tone looks beautiful and youthful. I feel like my face no longer looks dull!

At-Home Microderm!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This device is thoughtfully designed to save both time and money. I love that it includes a case to hold all the discs and both caps. Although I have somewhat sensitive skin, I'm experienced with exfoliating facials and products. I started with the blue discs, which were very mild and perfect for beginners in this type of exfoliation. After testing them on my lower face, I switched to the green discs, which were ideal for my skin.As you use the device, the suction effectively removes dead skin without being too intense, just enough to keep it snug against your skin. Immediately after use, my skin felt noticeably smoother and brighter. After a few weeks of regular weekly use, my skin became more even, much smoother, and my skincare products absorbed far better than before. I highly recommend this device to anyone looking to refine their skin texture and enhance the absorption of their skincare products.
