Great Device for Beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here's another A revolutionary at-home device that provides the same brilliant results as professional, in-office microdermabrasion treatments.As a beauty enthusiast, I have tried several at home Microdermabrasion devices and here's my experience with the Personal Microderm Elite Pro by PMDThe package came in a nice kit that has the suction device with 3 intensity level along with- 3 caps for different area usage such as Black/Whitehead remover, facial and body microderm- 7 Facial discs a pair of 4 different colors depending on skin need/concern/texture & sensitivity and one white disc as training disc along with 2 discs for body exfoliationHow I find it, suction is decent the blackhead remover cap is my favorite as it surely remove facial debris i never thought still resting on my face after double cleansing. I am thankful for the body cap too as i used it on my back and its amazing. However the discs on my face somehow feels like a sandpaper and I never went pass the training disc. Somehow I enjoy the metal (diamond dermabrasion as they call it) at least for my face but I would stoll ise the caps just not without the discs.Overall, it does the work, its good training device for beginners and absolutely leave my skin soft and smooth

Thank you for your review of the Personal Microderm Elite Pro. The discs for our devices do have aluminum oxide crystals on the tips that provide the exfoliation of the skin. The suction will bring the skin to the disc while the disc rotates and essentially, sands off the top dead layer of skin. A beginner with this will definitely want to start out with the white ultra sensitive (training) discs until you are comfortable moving it across the skin smoothly. Practice without a disc in the device is a great way to get used to this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pretty familiar with most of PMD tools and the ones I used I love and I keep utilizing them because they do work.PMD microderm elite pro is a microdermabrasion tool that comes with a set of different "heads" so it can be used at home enjoying the "spa" quality treatment.It is essential to mention that with PMD microderm elite pro you have to know what you are doing (make sure you read the instructions how to use the tool) before trying and have basic knowledge of the skin. This tool is powerful, has several tips and it does work but it would not be for the beginner. PMD microderm elite pro has several discs of different grain and strength to aid with at home exfoliation. It also provides suction and if you are not familiar with how the tool work you definetely read upon it before starting the treatment.Will recommend to somebody familiar with microdetmabrasion tools (not for a beginner)

From the moment I became a cosmetologist, I have been super intrigued with skincare and finding new product that works for me to be able to share with friends, family, and clients. I was beyond excited to be able to try out the PMD BEAUTY Personal Microderm Elite Pro. I have tried using personal microdermabrasion at home before and found the tools I had purchased before a little too harsh on my skin. Have heard great things about PMD Beauty and was super excited to get my hands on this! As someone with pretty sensitive skin I started off with trying it on the back of my hand to make sure it was safe to do so on my face. I have to say this is the first at home microderm tool that hasn’t given me any issues what so ever. I love that it has different cap sizes to serve different areas and purpose as well. There was no bruising left on my skin and the fact that I can control the speed and change disk depending on sensitivity was a game changer! My skin feels so smooth after every use and doesn’t feel irritated at all.

I was recently given the Personal Microderm Elite Pro to try and review, so here we go!! Initial thoughts:The box is so well made, I almost cried throwing it out! Upon opening the exterior packaging, you are met with a registration card and a nifty quick start guide.There was a hard white plastic container under that, wrapped in security plastic. When I opened the case, my at home maintenance dreams came true! It really is like a little part of the salon, easily stored and accessible to use, right at home!!My biggest advice here is education. Educate yourself beyond what is on this quick start guide. Go look at some reels or shorts and see what others chief complaints were and do your best to objectively learn from their mistakes, or try and agree. The worst case scenarios I have seen in my research prior to use, were 100% user error or not understanding the tool/ practical application OR having expectations that exceed this treatments capabilities. We sometimes tend to forget, not everything is as automatic as our society push that narrative. Do's:Select the appropriate cap for the TYPE of treatment you intend to administrator. Select the disc in the same manner. Start slow and low, increasing intensity in treatment each week. Remember that this is a tool that has disposable parts, so you mistakes replace the disc's as recommended and clean after each use for best results. Do a patch test! Patch tests are not just for chemicals. Patch test a small inconspicuous area that is experiencing at least 80% of your most problematic zone. Treat, leave for a couple days, and determine if this is something you should pursue. Talk to a professional.Start with your training disc to get a feel do not repeat, apply pressure, or work over/ into any areas of the skin.Great product! Hooked 1/wk!

For soft, bright skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an Esthetician, I have used PMD tools personally for years because I trust their product quality and safety measures. My collection is extensive and has been growing as I recently began using their Personal Microderm Elite Pro. I am very impressed with this clinical-grade, cordless, personal microdermabrasion device! It is incredibly easy to use but best of all, it is safe to use on your skin at home. I like that the speeds are regulated and that the suction guard keeps your skin safe. Because I struggle with minor acne and am fighting the signs of aging, exfoliation is a must. This tool makes it super easy to do with its disc tips that have varying grit levels for different sensitivity levels, making it perfect for all skin types. I have loved using this for the past month. My skin looks and feels so much healthier as it is smoother, softer, cleaner, brighter, and clearer. Even some of my minor fine lines have begun to disappear. Woot! I am also using this on some surgical scars which are beginning to look softer. It also includes a head that helps with blackhead extractions which is major because I struggle with blackheads. PMD truly put some thought into the design of this and even included a hard case that holds everything together. I am a big fan of this great-quality microderm system and highly recommend it for all skin types because we all need exfoliation and this gives near-professional results.

Personal Microderm Elite Pro

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a Licensed Esthetician for 22+ years and have extensive knowledge and experience with microdermabrasion machines and tools. When I first tried the PMD Personal Microderm Elite Pro I really wanted to like it and the first thing I noticed was the different discs of intensity that went from sensitive and up and the 2 larger discs for the body. The Personal Microderm Elite Pro has different settings. Even though my skin can take a lot I wanted to try all the discs and settings. I started with the sensitive disc on the first setting. I found it to feel just like sandpaper on my skin. It was extremely uncomfortable and in my opinion was really not the tool for me. I have done a lot to my skin and it is used to microdermabrasion, Peels, Hydro facials etc but I was not impressed with this for the face. I did find that the larger discs for the body were great to use on feet, elbows or anywhere else that your skin is rough.
