Not worth it

I thought I would love this cup so I m disappointed to say that I don t. The straw, at least on mine, doesn t work well at all. I suck up so much air and barely any liquid. I ve tried taking the straw off and reattaching, making sure there bc wasn t a valve that I missed and wasn t attaching the straw properly, made sure there wasn t something stuck in there, etc. I would not repurchase this item

My MIL got me this water bottle for my birthday a month ago. It started leaking about a week after a got it. Now whenever it falls over in my passenger seat (because it doesn t fit in a cup holder - I have the Stainless Steel 32 oz), I get water everywhere! The bottle does a great job keeping my water cold but I hate that it is constantly getting all of my things wet! “

Quality, Practical

Love my Owalas! We now have 4 in the house! I love the flip with its easy of use and not a single Owala leaks... all lead-proof! The flip is good bc it's so easy to drink out of and clean. A more comfortable spout than most other similar bottles. And the bottle construction is stellar and holds ice for a day!

Love the bottle - disappointed in the lid

Bought my son a new water bottle before headed back to school this year. He loved it for the first 3 weeks of class - kept his water quite cold as advertised. now it leaks and is unusable unless you want water all over the front of your shirt. He s a pretty responsible 7th grader, but I know that things happen ... the only thing he could think of was it getting knocked over on his desk on accident. Just wish this would have lasted longer than 1/3 thru the first quarter of school.

Not leak proof

I purchased three bottles of this style, and prefer the other style due to leaking. Still great at keeping liquids cold but main point of purchase was for my children for school and unfortunately we have not been able to send them because when on its side they pour out. Prefer the sip style, have 4 of those and no issues with leaking

No insulation

I own two of these water bottles. One of the bottles will keep my iced drink cold for days and the other does not insulate at all. I give it two stars because I love the bottle that does keep my drinks cold.

Not plane friendly

There should be a œdo not fly warning. I opened the bottle after taking flight and was instantly soaked with a fountain of water. Okay, so I get how this might happen on a plane, but the same thing happened to me a few days later after riding up 4 flights on an elevator! And it was only half full.
