Sprays water when opening

Bought 3 of these for my kids. Super cute designs and the girls loved that they had the same brand cup as mom. Almost every time my kids open the top to take a drink it sprays water. Water gets all over our furniture, car, and their clothes when this happens.

Water everywhere!

So disappointed! I love me own s so much that I jumped to get my kids their own bottles, only to find like other reviewers that the kids flips squirt water all over when you open them! While the "twist to vent" solution provided to many other reviewers by Owala does work, I can hardly expect my 5 year old to do that on her own at school correctly, and since these are kids bottles, it is a cumbersome solution at best. Love the look, and will continue to use my own s, but these are not great bottles for independent use for kids.

i love owala bottles so i was excited for the kids' bottles. i like that they are easy open and can lock shut, but it didn't take my kids (3.5 and 2 years old) long to realize they could tip the bottle upside down and dump the water out. i'll hold on to them until my kids are alittle older and don't think it's funny to dump water everywhere.

Great cups!!?There is a way to lick them and keep them from spilling!!! How great for a 6 and 3 year old!!!!

Leaks a lot if not standing up straight, when you flip straw out it pushes water out in child s face. Also sticker on label is hard to remove after removing paper. Not very kid friendly‘ŽI bought 2 ™…¼

The suction aspect of the straw is terrible & it s leads to the liquid coming up the straw & down the side. Wont be buying these again. It also sprays water when you open it

Love Owala

I love Owala and have about 15 bottles. I ve been dying for them to release a child s size version and am so happy they did. I bought a few of the stainless version and the plastic. I like both. Owala is made for water and that s all we put in our bottles. The straw isn t spill proof but it does it advertise to be. 5/5 stars becuase it s exactly as advertised. Love our Owala s.

THEY LEAK

Second time ever using them and they both drip from the same spot when closed. So disappointed. I wouldn t recommend these kids cups to anyone especially when they claim to be œleakproof .
