[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this security camera. The quality and picture quality is absolutely great and it was really easy to install. It was also super easy to find the Swann Security app and get everything set up to use as well. I love that there is a 2 way talk so I can communicate with someone on the other side of the camera and it even has a voice control that works with Alexa and Hey Google. I also really like that it’s even weather proof and I don't here to worry about it getting ruined while being outside. Overall this is a great camera to have and I would definitely recommend if you need a great security camera.

Great camera and user friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love how easy this security camera is to install and operate! You just download the Swann security app and it guides you step by step to connect it and get it running. I have it mounted on my front porch. The mounting bracket is magnetic so the camera secures on the bracket so you can easily remove it for charging which each charge can last up to 6 months. The camera comes in clear in the day and clear with the night vision feature! Built in speaker comes in clear with no static and the motion sensors work perfectly. Best part NO wires to hook up! So as long as your wifi reaches the camera you don't have to have it just where there is a outlet or worry about hard wiring it. Comes with a 16GB memory card to get you started but you can buy one with more memory if you want to. Extremely pleased with this camera!

The video quality is actually pretty good, the picture quality is very clear and being able to talk through the camera is a bonus. Excellent sound quality on the speaker. Mic works very well so, for good home security, theses wifi cameras with a few motion detectors can keep you informed and alerted for a very good price. So far I am pleased with everything about this camera.

very slow start up time is major flaw

This is really a case of buyer beware.
Swann makes great products. The 'connected/powered' security cameras are tremendous which is why the wireless, solar charged product is particularly disappointing.
The build quality is excellent. The convenience of wireless installation is brilliant. The start time, when motion is detected, is absolutely woeful.
Startup is so slow that most often what was detected is well gone before the camera starts leaving an empty scene.
It's a common complaint.

I am comparing this to a hard wired security system I installed a few years ago, and these cameras were super easy to install and set up on the app. Excellent picture quality, notifications sent to my phone whenever triggered, can speak through the cameras which is fun but also very conveniant. Have already recommended to friends and family and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a high quality, affordable camera system.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this security camera, it’s a nice subtle design, easy to use, and feels solidly made. I like the fact that it comes with a 32gb memory card, so you aren’t forced to join Swann’s monthly plans like so many others. Also you can get build up you system with more cameras and solar panels, so then you don’t even need to recharge it. I had some trouble with the initial pairing of camera and app, so in the end I called the help line (they were very nice and patient) and they figured out that it was my internet password, it has to be only alphanumeric… once I changed the password it was very quick and easy to setup. The app is intuitive, and all the basics you need are right there. I have mine just outside my back door, but under the patio roof, image quality is pretty good (it’s 1080p) and motion sensor picks up just the right amount (doesn’t go crazy when a plant sways in the wind, but will pickup pets). I really like the camera and app but for me the good customer service is a big bonus, I definitely recommend this.

Super Fantastic Security

Local AND Cloud recording is great so you have a backup in case the internet is down and it works great outside. I've been using this for a few weeks to monitor our apartment and it's been fantastic.

I have also paid three times more than what this camera cost and the picture is not as clear as this camera . Im very impressed with the picture quality , function and the easiness of control . Easy setup , easy use . Great pictures . Not much more you could ask from a camera. . Highly recommended camera .
