Have used my JoeTisserie several times for chicken breast and veggies. Was excited to use it for the Thanksgiving turkey and discovered the motor will not turn a 20# bird. Fortunately I checked on it before it burnt on one side and finished it in a pan.

I’ve made plenty of spatchcock chicken in the past but a rotisserie chicken blows it out of the water! Plus cooking directly over open coals makes the Kamado Joe super easy to cook on and minimal cleanup at the end. I’m sure there are more uses than just chicken with the basket accessory but even if I just cook chicken, it was worth every penny!

First time use for a whole chicken. Never had such a moist chicken. This thing is ingenious. But, you need to view youtube videos how to use it. A few simple tips you wouldn't figure out on your own

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JoeTisserie and related baskets are a great way to up your Kamado Joe game. I have used the JoeTisserie for Prime Rib Roasts, Turkeys - even racks of ribs. By banking the lump charcoal in the back of my Kamado Joe, the spinning of the meats over those banked coals leads to even heating and self-basting. Adding a basket allows for even more flexibility.
