It is amazing! Making pizzas for the whole family is a blast. We make a batch of dough and then line up all kinds of toppings and everyone tries all kinds of pizzas. It’s a fantastic addition to the Kamado Joe. Everyone should get one.

Works but is pricey and limits your smoke options

If you have an old classic like me, you have to buy the divided heat deflectors for it which adds to the already steep cost. Also, there is no way to add wood chunks while the DoJoe is in place without taking it off , which is heavy, hot and defeats the purpose of trying to keep the heat in.

We tried making pizza on our KamadoJoe before owning the pizza oven accessory and the difference using the Dojoe is amazing. The crust comes out delicious and the same each time vs too crispy or chewy. It really perfects the process.

Latch is a tad difficult but makes pizza quick!

The latch is a tad difficult to use, and a suggestion to raise price and send a pizza paddle would be my suggestion. I wish we would have know how hard it is to put in and retrieve without a pizza paddle.
