I’ve had this things for a year and it’s the worst attachment. It just doesn’t work. The temperature guage doesn’t work correct when attached. It burns the pizza every time. Do not recommend.

Worked well. But we had to open the grill and pull it out while the grill was still hot because it was not cooling down at all! Could use some sort of door that you could close to help snuff out the charcoal.

I have no real issues with the product itself, it is well made and does what it says it will do. And I like cool gadgets. However, it requires the Kamado to get insanely hot - which we were having a hard time achieving - and it is summer time. LOL So we went thru a lot of coal. We had always made pizza's just on a stone in the Kamado on the raised grate and it did work well. I am thinking I may have bought a large "cool accessory" that I am just gonna have to figure out how to store and go back to the old way. But... time will tell..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome Pizza

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had pizza everywhere I've lived and just about everywhere I've traveled, including Italy. Ingredients are critical to a great pizza, especially the dough. Cooking method is as critical and the DoJoe comes as close to authentic as one can get. Pizza by me happens 2-3 times a month and the DoJoe is aways part of it

Good pizza. Hard to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It cooks pretty decent pizza. The heat isn’t totally even across the ceramic plate. Mine is hotter at the back than at the front. The seal between the kettle and the lid is not even. I don’t know if this affects the heat distribution or not. It’s good but could be better. Not on par with the performance of the grill itself.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Making pizza easy
