Putting a Spin on my smoking Dizzy Bird

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Rotisserie of any kind, adding the JoeTisserie to my KAMADO Joe Classic III was a big game changer. My first spin was a 12lb Turkey WOW perfectly cooked, perfect crispy skin, juicy throughout. Second spin was a Top Round Roast then a Chicken Shawarma I just can’t say enough about how great this JoeTisserie accessory has upped my cooking skills.

Great for chicken...and other things!

I bought this because I love doing chicken on it and I hate the way store bought rotisserie chicken tastes. It's not fresh and by the time you get home it's been sitting in it's own cold juices and the meat is cold and the skin is all soft and rubbery; not to mention the lack of flavor some stores give it. I want fresh, off the fire, hot, crispy skin chicken. You can do a butterflied chicken where you cut open the back and lay the chicken flat on the grill and that works too but I feel like in my experience the skin doesn't get quite as crispy as rotisserie. So I bought it and man oh man does it deliver. The motor is strong enough to hold the chickens I've used and turned with no issues. It does require a plug so you need to have an extension cord available. I think i could potentially do 2 chickesn on it simultaneously but I haven't tried just yet. Good construction, I think the motor could be a little stronger and I can see on heavier cuts it might have problems, but overall for a 5lb bird so far, doable.

Don’t wast your money Falls apart

My cover for big Joe lol went from red band to pink to white and fell apart in 6 months I recommend buying a 50 gallon garbage bag you’ll get more use out of it and I’m a big fan Of Kamado Joe it’s a disgrace discover

Bought this a few weeks back and spun a 20 lb turkey for its maiden voyage. It turned out unbelievably well. Everyone raved about the flavor and how moist it stayed.

My husband absolutely loved this gift and says I “won” Christmas this year. He has used it every weekend since he opened it. His only hang up is that part of the Joe (some cooking rack that is usually in place) has to be taken out to fit the JoeTisserie on. But other than that, he has not stopped obsessing over it. He will rotisserie 2 whole chickens against each other on the center shaft and they come out beautifully!! He is itching to try a meat trompo next

I have always wanted to own a rotisserie, but was a little hesitant due to the cost of the JoeTisserie. That said, The product is very easy to use, the metal components are high quality and clean-up is a breeze, and the both the leg of lamb and the whole chicken I cooked turned out amazingly.
